「Nicely appointed renovated home. Had two dinners with guests that the proprietors made. Def would suggest enjoying the company and food.
We had car trouble, and Marcel offered to take us to Hertz in Saumur. Acted as tour guide, chauffeur, and interpreter for us in Chinon as well as Saumur.

「If you are looking for a top-new hotel with a plastic-card-key and a sterile environment where you can’t distinguish one room from the other - this is not your place! But, if you want to experience France and the Loire Valley and stay in a magic historical environment with lovely humble and generous people I would highly recommend this beautiful château!!
