"Although it could use some updating its a good place to stay. Breakfast needs some better choices but works . The pool was closed so not sure how that is . I do like the outside entrance from parking lot and no stairs."

"Very tranquil and relaxing farm house where our family could gather both inside or outside. The kitchen was exceptionally stocked, very user friendly. Our host provided snacks, coffee and was always available for any questions. She even offered several suggestions. While we were there, the power company sent a notice to the host about a planned power outage from 12a-2a. She was very quick to let us know about that, and asked if there was anything we might need. Plenty of games for our gatherings made this a very enjoyable trip. We had family meet from Ohio, Texas, Missouri, and Kansas. This was exactly what we hoped we would find."

"Overall, a great value to stay in downtown Chanute, Kansas. The host had great communication and all the amenities were excellent. My only challenge with the property was it was in dire need of upkeep could’ve been just a little bit. The building is very old and there were many cracks down multiple walls, which is no fault of the owners. In terms of cleanliness, I had a lot of bugs I had to kill the first night, including ladybugs and grasshopper, which I thought was strange. It was a second building with bugs inside. The fan was extremely dusty, including the ceiling fans and massive stains on the carpets throughout the whole unit. Those are small details, but cleanliness is my number one most important thing when staying in a place and it could’ve been a little bit better. I would still recommend staying here as long as those couple small items were addressed and you don’t mind structural problems of an old building. Otherwise, good place to stay."

"This place is a truly hidden gem! We didn’t want to leave! The property was immaculate! We had such a great conversation with the owners and felt so welcomed! Wonderful place!! The ac was on point and the bed was comfortable! Highly recommend!"

"Cute little house. Beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding. Bathroom was very clean and well stocked! The negative I have, which iscompletely understandable for a house in the summer, is when I messaged the owner asking if they had something I could use to get rid of the ants in the kitchen I never got a response. Otherwise, great stay in a quiet neighborhood and close to the college!"
