Located in the Overlook condominium complex in the Devils Knob area with close proximity to The Spa, Aquatics and Fitness Center, Devils Grill, Devils Knob Golf Course, Devils Knob Racquet Sports, and Wintergreen Nature Foundation. Bedroom 1 - One King bed, Bedroom 2 -Two Twin beds. 2 baths. Full kitchen and washer/dryer in unit. Wood Fireplace. All accommodations involve stairs getting into the units. *No Elevator* This unit has 16 stairs for access. Each unit is individually decorated reflecting the preferences of the private owner. *All efforts will be made to honor the selected accommodation; however, circumstances may require an alternative unit assignment at check-in*

Zero communication from owner

It was such a shame that we didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the condo that we booked because the check-in process was so terrible. This is a beautiful unit on a lovely resort property. Unfortunately, I received no check in instructions. I didn’t look for instructions in advance of arrival, so shame on me. We arrived at 6pm and couldn’t get into the unit. I tried contacting the owner through VRBO, no response. I went to the check in office to ask for help. I was told that they get a lot of complaints from the VRBO rentals and that they have no affiliation, which was confusing because the check-in desk had our key card. I later found out that the resort did, in fact list the condo. Why lie? I drive the 2 miles back to the condo and the key card doesn’t work. Two maintenance men and 3 hours later they got us into the condo, but told us that we couldn’t let the door close behind us if we left the condo or we’d be locked out. It was 10pm by the time we got into the unit.
