Fantastic stay!

We stayed for five nights in late March and were thoroughly impressed with the property. It was clean, comfortable, and had stunning views. The private beach was perfect and was teeming with sea glass if you are a collector. We walked the path between the neighborhood and larger beach several times to eat at Office of Nature (delicious). They even helped us arrange transportation. Communication with April was excellent. Thank you for sharing your home!

Have rented many places in Jamaica - this one is my favourite! Do not go anywhere else! Clean, amazing view, nice small and quiet beach, large shared pool in the closed community, very nice staff. Walking distance to Riu Negril and 7-miles beach. Very responsive owner and always helpful when had any questions. Good quality of internet if you're going to work online. Nice welcome gift - made my kids very happy -snacks, water and juices in the fridge. Overall great experience. Would come back to Jamaica - but only knowing I'll go to this place :)

Neat House wtih Great Ocean View

The apartment is in a gated community which makes us feel safe. The apartment is not very big but has a very nice layout and clean, and comes with the gorgeous ocean/sunset view in the backyard. Brent and April are very nice and responsive owners. During our stay, there was an equipment failure (which always occurs at one point) but they took quick actions to send the team to solve the problem. We really enjoyed the stay.

Perfect place for a great stay in Negril!

The location and property was very nice. Views were spectacular and the private beach entertained us and the kids for hours. Snorkeling was really great at the beach. Take the path down to Bloody Bay to the little shops and Office of Nature. Miss Lily's was a great dinner for us and Margaritaville was a nice base for us with kids since they had trampolines in the water. The host was very responsive with questions. Would highly recommend to friends and family. We love Jamaica!

Quiet Oasis

It'll be hard to top this one

I couldn't possibly describe just how magical and amazing this home, neighborhood, location and views are appropriately. The home was even more beautiful in person, very spacious with all the amenities you could need and breathtaking views of the ocean. This entire community of homes and the people taking care of it are extremely welcoming. Always present to help with any questions and needs, and we felt like we were in our very own little private paradise. Highly recommend this location! I promise you'll be wondering how you'll ever top this trip when staying here.

Best villa

Brent keeps his villa very nice and has thought of everything from beach items to tennis and basketball equipment. We have rented 3 times in Little Bay and this is the best one! Loved that there were nice retracting screens on the windows! Gorgeous sunsets in the gazebo or down on the bench. The only sad part is there is not an available week in March already but once you stay here you will know why. Thanks for a great vacation!

Amazing property with great facilities.

My family and I just returned from staying here and we loved every moment. The property is even better than pictured and has amazing views from the garden area. Brent and April have provided everything needed for a great stay and were very responsive when we had a query. We spent some time at the private beach and pool and arranged for the house keeper to cook for us one evening which we thoroughly enjoyed. We hired a car to drive around which we found very useful and we felt perfectly safe driving around. I would recommend this property to any couples or families coming to stay in negril!

Exceeded my expectations

From the time I booked, Brent was so helpful. He always responded to every question I had within hours. The property is beautiful. It is fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could need down to shampoo & body wash in the showers & bug spray. When we arrived, Bibsy met us there to show us around the property. It was my son’s birthday & I asked them to help out with a cake and she had picked it up that morning. Wherever it came from, it was absolutely delicious. The pool is huge and it is very well kept. The beach is clean and we saw a variety of colorful fish and even a baby turtle. The neighborhood is quiet & relaxing. The beds are comfortable and the house is very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with any utensil you’d need to make a meal. The guards are super friendly. We rented a car since there was 4 of us and travel expenses can add up quickly. The driving is mildly terrifying but for as crazy as it was, there were no rude drivers. There’s plenty of shopping and restaurants right on the same strip of road as this development so whatever need is within a 10 minute drive. We took a day trip to the Black River, YS Falls and the Pelican bar for which we hired Kenny tours. They were great. Kenny even came to the development and found me at the beach to meet us and answer any questions the day prior. Over all, this is a great rental and I cannot say enough good things about the staff and owners. I’d rent this property a hundred times over. Rent a car for driving around Negril but hire a driver to venture further because driving in Jamaica is not for the faint of heart.

Fantastic place for a family vacation - and it comes with a stunning view!

The town house was for us the perfect home away from home. It's situated in a nice gated community with an infinity pool and a private beach just 3 minutes’ walk from the house. On the day we arrived, we had our own private chef preparing a meal for us and the housekeeper Avis gave us some instructions and information about the property itself. The location is perfect with easy access to many of the fantastic sites around Negril and the 7 mile beach, such as Margaritaville (this quickly became our favorite part of the beach), Dolphine Cove, Ricks Café, YS Falls and, of course, The Appleton Estate, a must for any Rum lover. We didn’t rent a car, a decision that I think was the right one for us. Driving in Jamaica isn’t for the faint hearted. We used a driver by the name of Clinton who instead drove us around. He was also a fantastic support when we would leave the beaten track and for instance shop at one of the local markets for vegetables and fruit. He comes highly recommended. Our hosts, Brent & April, were always reachable if we had any questions and when we needed assistance at the house, Brent’s dad lived nearby and could come by and give us a hand. There are many fantastic restaurants nearby, many of them situated on the cliffs with a breathtaking view. Just to mention a couple of our favorites: Ivans at Catcha a Falling Star, Xtabi, Pimentoz. We also recommend a trip out to Floyd’s Pelican Bar. There cannot be many places like this in the world and for us it was a must. If we ever get back to Jamaica, this is the place for us! Jamaica was our favorite family vacation ever!

Brent’s townhome was perfect for our family. It is in a nice gated community with every amenity that we could need. The infinity pool on the beach was a daily must for us, and we went back and forth from pool to beach. Bibsie, the property caretaker, took care of us all week and made us amazing Jamaican breakfast and dinner. We were in a great location to get to Ricks Cafe, 7 mile beach, Dolphin Cove, Mayfield Falls, Montego Bay & YS Falls. The sunsets from the back yard and the beach every night were unforgettable! Brent was so helpful and attentive via text & email. We will definitely be coming back!! Thanks Brent & Bibsie!!!

“AWESOME!!!!!!!”

From the time I contacted Brent about booking months in advance until I landed back at home the door was always open for any questions I had. He arranged for his dad (Mr. Barry) to meet us at the airport where I rented a car and got us back there on our departure date. Mr. Barry picked up Ms. Bibsie (who takes great care of the inside of the house) and we when shopping for food and they showed us great places to eat and have fun. Chef Bibsie cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Sunday for my Ladies birthday (Saltfish and Callaloo, Curried Shrimp, Stewed Red Snapper, Curried Red Snapper, Oxtails, and Rice/Peas). She even came back on Tuesday to make some Chicken Soup the was to die for....smh...The property is very well maintained by the both of them and they were always just a phone call always if we needed anything.....I've traveled to a lot of countries over the years and I most say, staying at Brent's townhouse, in Negril, with Mr. Barry and Ms. Bibsie at a arms reach, was the best vacation ever!!!! We will be back to vacation at Unit #86 again.....Thanks to Brent, his wife, Mr. Barry, and Ms. Bibsie for making this a great time.....I highly recommend this place to stay....P.S. The Appleton Jamaican Rum is a must......Jesse

Great place for a family vacation

This condo is really nice. We can well prepared with a folding soft skin cooler, to take our drinks and food to the beach and pool. The only thing I would recommend is that Brent might want to consider adding a dresser to bedrooms, for storing clothes. I noticed that previous renters mentioned renting a car. I did rent a car, having driven in many countries around the world, I didn't give it much thought. I would say that driving in Jamaica isn't for the timid. It was quite the experience, dodging animals (chickens, goats and dogs), watching for massive potholes and other drivers that were also trying to avoid potholes. But the other drivers were the most challenging part of the driving experience. Hilarious use of the car horn and passing were you don't normally think it would be safe to do so. So I would say that you should avoid renting a car if you are from North America. Folks from the UK or any other left hand drive nation will find it a bit easier. You should also keep in mind that most attractions are in Montego Bay or east island. You would be on the west side, so expect long trips. However, if you want quiet and a beautiful gated community, this is the place for you. Enjoy!

Well -maintained with stunning view

Our family enjoyed the stay at Sunset Vista. When we arrived, Bibsie (housekeeper) was there to meet and show us the property and the nearest grocery store. Mind you that was 8:00pm at night. Thank you, Bibsie! The property turned out to be exactly as depicted on the website. The living and dining room were large and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were comfortable. The view from the master's bedroom was amazing! The Sunset Vista welcome aboard information was a plus. It was well put together with tons of information about the property including recommended restaurants around Negril (thank you-Brent!) We really enjoyed our stay and thank your for making our Christmas vacation another memorable one.

Paradise in paradise! A MUST stay!!!

The best stay we've had in Jamaica! The apartment is in a perfect location and the pool and private beach were amazing! Its the end unit so we had a little more privacy than other apartments. We also had security in it being a gated community and the security staff were extremely pleasant and always available. Brent and April were great hosts and were always reachable if we needed anything. We enjoyed the cooked meals from Biggsy, the housekeeper, which allowed us the flexibility to enjoy the Negril without the worry of preparing food. We drove from Montego Bay and the hosts were extremely helpful in giving us info about rental cars and directions. We even had a local guide/escort that helped us get to local grocery stores and shops. This is definitely a great stay and will recommend to friends and family. We look forward to coming back soon!

Great retreat from the hustle and bustle!

We traveled to Negril with another couple that booked their stay at an "All-inclusive" resort nearby. My husband and I opted to book "Sunset Vista" because we felt that it would give us a more peaceful respite and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The property offered a spectacular view and was clean and bright. The only issues that we noted were evidently as a result of a recent storm so, no worries! Otherwise, very comfortable and accommodating! The persons suggested for airport pick up was efficient and the lovely woman that shopped for and prepared our meals was friendly, helpful and a fantastic cook! Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our experience. In hind site, the only thing that we might have done differently would have been to rent a car (if wanting to visit resorts, shop or explore on your own). We were farther away from our friends than anticipated and grabbing taxi's (as well as determining and securing consistent travel rates) was sometimes extremely challenging.

A home away from home

We loved staying at Sunset Vista! The townhouse is beautifully decorated in a gated community just outside of Negril. It would be best to have your own transportation, however you could arrange for a driver (George) to pick you up daily or arrange some tours (Mayfield Falls or Blue Hole). On the property, you can watch the sunset every night from the private deck/palapa, go for a swim at the pool or private beach, or play tennis. Bibsie will make sure you settle in when you arrive and is only a phone call away if you need anything! We will definitely be back.
