The apartment is in a strategic position to visit Lake Maggiore, where the tourist resorts of Stresa are located with the much vaunted Borromean Islands, Baveno, Meina, Arona, Cannobbio, Cannero Riviera, Lake Orta, Lake Mergozzo . To the north are the Ossola Valley Mountains with the famous tourist resorts of Macugnaga, Formazza, Val Vigezzo, Switzerland, the city of Milan, the prestigious Golf courses Borromeo and Castelconturbia. The Lake Maggiore area offers ample opportunities for tourists throughout the year: in spring you can see the beautiful flowers of the Borromeo Gulf Islands parks, in summer the beaches of the seaside resorts on the lake and the hiking trails in the many protected areas near Verbania, including the Val Grande National Park. In winter it is possible to ski in the Mottarone, Domobianca or other Valle dell'OOssola resorts.
