I loved our stay at Crystal Mare! Elisabeth and Carmen were both so hospitable, offering a full tour of our rooms, giving suggestions of what to do, setting up reservations, and making sure we were satisfied during breakfast. This was our favorite hotel during our stay in Greece, and I would be delighted to return to Naxos. It's not in the heart of the downtown/port area, but it's an easy 20-30 walk to the heart of the old town Naxos area. The hotel has a private parking lot, which was helpful to have while he had our rental. Also, it is a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, which was a nice spot to visit on our first and last days. The rooms were spacious and beds extremely comfortable. I loved that the rooms had a small kitchenette, which was a nice option for heating up leftovers and washing our water bottles. We also looked forward to the daily breakfast buffet. The Naxian cheese is still so memorable for me. 5/5 - highly recommend!

Elisavet was so welcoming and friendly. She and the staff made sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The room was very clean and beautiful. It’s location is close walking distance to the beach, restaurants and the village. Absolutely recommend!

Elizabet and her team were very helpful. The suite was spacious and modern exactly as described. The bed was super comfortable and the accommodation was kept spotless. Beach and nearest Taverna an easy walk on a sandy path. Town easy via a boardwalk.

Elisavet was the kindest, most welcoming host! She has a lovely property, helpful staff, an amazing breakfast buffet, and her location is perfect if you want beach access but a bit of quiet away from the town proper, which is still within easy walking distance. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Having spent some time researching places to stay, this one kept coming up with all positive reviews about the property and the staff. It is a lovely small business, with a family approach to service. So many things had been thought of, including one socket that stays on when the apartment power is turned off by taking the fob key out of the wall reader. We really enjoyed our stay and the personal recommendations and will definitely think of this as the number one dtay choice for Naxos. Thank you.

Profile: couple in their 30s travelling for vacation (4 days in Naxos). If you are looking for a place that makes you feel like you are home while also having a great vacation, this is it. Beyond all the great things about the hotel (see end of this comment), the host, Elisavet is an incredible person whose clear objective is that you have the most memorable and pleasant stay. This is by far the most well-rounded vacation stay I have had and would recommend anyone to stay here. A few of the key things about the hotel: - Elizavet and Carmen - Spacious/clean/luxurious rooms - Amazing breakfast with enough variety for everyone's liking (made every morning) - Easy parking - Walking distance to the beach (5 mins) and old town (20 mis)

Elisavet and the staff made us feel very welcome during our stay. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the beach and close to a main road and supermarket. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast buffet each morning was delicious. Thanks for making our time in Naxos so enjoyable!

Such a beautiful place to stay in Naxos! The owner and the staff were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. They paid attention and met every single detail we needed. Exceptional care and attention from the hotel owner, she is exceptional! She helped coordinate ferry transfers and a rental car to make our trip a breeze and is SO NICE! The location is convenient to walk to the beach and is a nice 10 minute stroll into town.

Our stay at Elisavet property was more than amazing. Not only did she help us with booking reservations for restaurants and beaches she also helped us with transportation. Making the trip very easy for us. The place is clean and the breakfast is good. You are walking distance to the town and access to many beaches and restaurants. The place is located on a busy road so at night sometimes you can hear the cars. Overall would definitely recommend staying here as Elisabeth makes you feel at home and took great care of us. Thank you again !!

Hotel and the people working there were great. Had a big clean room with a nice view to the water. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants and really wasn't too far from town via the beachfront. Owner was wonderful and provided great information to us regarding the area. Was on a busy road but would not hesitate to stay again.

We had an amazing stay! Elizabeth, the property owner and Carmen went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time in Naxos. They provided us with several recommendations on things to do around the island and places to eat and arranged a rental car for us. The room was perfect and spacious and had everything we needed as well. It was quiet and we were a quick walk to the town and beach!

Beautiful hotel and Elizabeth is a lovely host! The hotel was very nice and the breakfast was delicious! Naxos was beautiful and we enjoyed renting an atv to visit the olive museum and eat at rotanda and visit aperathos (all were the highlight of our trip to Naxos) A reminder to tourists: do NOT drink the water in Chora. It made me violently sick for a day.

The rooms are all beautifully decorated with either an outside terrace or balcony. The rooms are in beautiful large gardens and are very clean and comfortable. The manager and staff are really helpful and friendly - booking cabs and advising on buses or places to visit. Breakfasts are of very good quality. Crystal Mare is a few minutes walk from a good sandy beach with pleasant beach bars and just a short walk in to Naxos town. Crystal Mare is very well run by Elisavet and her staff and is a lovely relaxing place to stay on holiday - we had an amazing week and would definitely return.

- Elisavet!!! Words cannot describe how kind, generous and caring she was. First off, we lost a full day and a half in Naxos due to our ferry cancellation. She did not hesitate to refund us for our one night stay- I knew from this moment that she genuinely cares about her guests. The hotel was absolutely marvelous - the design, attention to detail and CLEANLINESS was otherworldly. The location is about 10-15 minutes walk into Chora (town) which is not too bad! Breakfast is served buffet style with plenty of options and is REALLY good (bread, dessert, pastry, tomato, olive, egg, meats, cheese, coffee and even cappuccino made to order if you prefer). - When we arrived, she gave us recommendations for what to see on the island since we only had one day total to spend. The weather was a bit windy and since we did not rent a car, we opted to do the bus tour to see the villages up on the mountains versus spend the day at the beach. She checked in on us every morning of our stay to ensure we were comfortable which meant to much to us. She even offered to give us a ride into town on our first day and before leaving to the airport, she offered to drive us!!! Words seriously can’t describe how genuinely kind she is. I hope to one day return to a place that feels like home away from home!!! Please do yourself a favor and book your stay here!!!! ❤️

The owner Elisavet was extremely welcoming and helpful. Upon arrival, she presented us with a map of the island as well as suggestions for restaurants in the area. We went to several of the recommendations, they were all top notch! The room was clean and well kept, and her attention to detail makes all the difference. It’s quiet, modern, close to the beach, what more could you ask for. Highly recommend a stay at this hotel!

Great little family run B&B with supa friendly owners (Elisabet) willing to help at every turn. Breakfast fab. Spotlessly clean and comfy beds. Short walk to the lovely beach and around a 20 minute walk into the centre of Naxos town. If you have luggage arriving from the ferry, it will be around a 25-30 minute walk or Elisabet can arrange a taxi for €15-20 We loved our stay in Naxos and will be back.

I never had staff as friendly and thoughtful as this hotel. Elizabeth (the hotel owner) offered to drive us to a nearby beach herself. The hotel offered a delicious breakfast each morning. The hotel is about a five minute walk to a nice sandy organized beach. The hotel is walkable to many restaurants in the area. The hotel was updated and very clean. Hotel also provided us with beach towels.
