If I could give the staff a 10 out of 5 I would. They always went above and beyond to make our stay more special. The hotel was so close to everything it was 5 mins walk to the beach and 5 mins walk to the restaurants.

Quiet little hotel with nicely decorated rooms

My partner and I enjoyed 4 days here. The hotel is quiet and located within walking distance to everything in Agia Anna/Agios Prokopios. Most of the rooms face the little pool which is nothing special but it has nice and comfy lays. The hotel does not have a reception, only a little desk which is occupied in the morning and at night. The breakfast was overpriced for toast and an omelette but with a kitchenette we were able to make our own which we liked. On the day of arrival we were able to check in much earlier which was a huge help for us. Also on the day of departure we asked for a later check out which was giving us. Overall a cute little place with nicely decorated rooms to enjoy your island hopping

Disappointed - beware

We are disappointed to leave a negative review, as we enjoyed our stay overall. We never received a refund after being mistakenly charged for an extra night, despite being promised at check out that a refund would be processed (over two months ago). The hotel has been unresponsive to our requests for an update on the refund. This has left us with a bad taste despite overall enjoying our stay.

Da vi ankom hotellet, var det et par ting som ikke var helt i orden på rommet. Personalet fikset det med en gang vi sa ifra og de var veldig hyggelige. En ekstra takk til Evi som tok oss i mot og kom med anbefalinger til ting å se på øya. Vi fikk nummeret hennes og kunne kontakte henne når som helst. Hotellet har en god beliggenhet med restauranter, strand, supermarked og buss i umiddelbar nærhet. Alt i alt en veldig god opplevelse!

Bien mais…

Beaucoup dans le paraître, beaucoup de petites réparations à prévoir. Poignee cassée, cafards, piscine pas entretenue. Le dernier soir on nous a demandé de partir de la chambre pour cause « extermination insectes » sauf que l’on s’est retrouvé dans un complexe vide sans piscine, un peu délaissés, en repassant le soir avant de partir on a vu que notre chambre était relouée… c’est du surbooking, on nous a gentiment viré de notre chambre pour d’autres clients…. Toutefois le personnel est très sympathique et le séjour s’est bien passé dans l’ensemble.

Very mixed experience

We had two rooms for our stay and both had some positives and negatives. Overall it’s a cute/Charming property in a nice location, rooms in good condition but rooms are a complete hit and miss with some serious flaws in some cases. Communication was an issue throughout as we actually tried to get more info on rooms weeks before our stay. There are clearly some nice rooms and others that should not be offered The double deluxe room Positives - - nice balcony - nice concept Negatives - far too small especially bathroom - room entrance was next to reception so zero privacy - no safe in room and cleaning crew would leave balcony door open therefore no secure - kitchenette was not useful - ok for a two night stay but for a week it should never be used. Our specific room should have been used for storage or a mini breakfast area Quadruple room Positive - good space and well supplied - nice layout and bathroom actually functional Negatives - no terrace this entrance is effectively the dirt road where ppl park - cleaning crew left window open ! - kitchenette useful but no pan - even after requested I can understand why there are mixed reviews for this property as it likely completely depends on what unit you get. It’s probably best for Ampelos inn to show each room independently given they have nothing in common. Overall it’s a nice spot but some of the flaws can be uncomfortable
