"Perfect location in the old town, close to everything. There was a lovely breakfast each morning. Free water for the room which was easy to replace. Rooms were small but functional. Could have done with coat hooks and more space in bathroom for toiletries but overall was perfect for our stay. Thankyou."
"Great location and easy to find. But the first impression was spoiled by not well trained staff who did our check in. I know that not everyone speaks well English, but the young woman who done our check in used just few simple words like ID, sign, keys and second floor. No please, thank you or polite small talk. We had no idea about the breakfast option or spa. The following days as the staff changed we saw a huge improvement as we were greeted with smile and hello, good morning or how are you."
"Nice quiet location few minute walk from restaurants and attractions. Family Studio room was very spacious & stylish with a comfortable bed & nice balcony (though view was just of courtyard and other buildings). Great breakfast with large selection. Water dispenser down the hall was a nice touch to cut down on bottled water usage."
"Brilliant location very close to the old town! Clean apartment, well maintained, good range of kitchen utensils. We had booked a one bedroom apartment and had been upgraded to a two bedroom, which had a huge balcony. Very happy!
Only minor negatives were:
Shower cubicle was more a wet room, so water came out and went under the bathroom sink, towels were required on the floor to soak it up.
No tea towel to wipe up, so again had to use a towel to soak up the water on the worktop.
Internal Door handles were a bit squeaky, so seemed quite loud at night. Doors wouldn’t stay closed to, unless they were firmly shut, they opened up.
We would definitely recommend the apartments."
"The hotel is located a short walk from the old town. The sleep was very good due to the complete silence of the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet was great, with many choices of high-quality ingredients."
"Well equipped apartment in good distance to the city center and main attractions. Overall very comfortable. Nice view to the river.
No coffee maker/pot that was promised. No room cleaning unless requested and paid extra - not an issue but something that should be flagged in the listing.
Pool felt more like a big bathtub when 40+ are allowed in at the same time but the saunas were very nice and hot."
"We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Gdansk City Center. The rooms were really nice and the hotel is really cool and modern. The location was perfect for easily walking to the city center for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. The unique outer design was easy to spot too, so we kept saying "I see our hotel!" while we were out and about (this was a family trip including a 4 year old). We did not pre-pay for breakfast, but we decided to eat at the hotel on our last morning. It was easy to pay and enjoy the delicious buffet. I hope to visit Gdansk again someday and if I do, I will definitely stay here again."
"It appears to be a new or recently renovated hotel, so clean, modern all works. Located just outside of the old town of Gdansk it offers a nice mix of accessibility and quiet."
