「The location (Bucharest Old City Center) is excellent, walking distance from many must-see places in Bucharest, and easy access to good restaurants.
Reception staff was very nice, was able to arrange for a taxi from the airport to hotel when we arrived, and back on our return. Very helpful.
Breakfast was included, very good and generous selection of Romanian traditional food.
Lastly, room cleaning has some room for improvement, clearly understaffed (came very late in the afternoon, one person...
「The location is excellent and the suite is large, comfortable, and quiet. While the area outside is surrounded by nightlife, it is silent inside the suite. It is a short walk from public transportation and many sites. The staff are communicative and were very helpful in arranging airport pickup. I highly recommend Matisse Bucharest Old Town. 」
「A great location - 10 mins from the old town and 5 mins to a tube station. We only used tge tube on one day and walked to everything else. Reception are supposed to be there 7am to 7pm, but seem to wander off! However, they are very speedy to arrive if you WhatsApp or ring the number displayed. It's a small hotel (18 rooms) so that's why there isn't a 24 hour reception. Everything is very new with lovely feather pillows and duvets and a nice bathroom with fluffy towels. Rooms cleaned well...
"Friendly staff, not all of them, but they made my stay nice. The lighting in the rooms is dim, but there is water and coffee service, which was very good. There is no pot so you cannot boil water. There is also a fridge, but drinks are already available.
The hotel has been renovated, but there are some old parts. You have to be a little careful in the lift.
I enjoyed the variety of breakfast. What impressed me was the crisp and efficient staff. They did an excellent job. I was satisfied and had two glasses of champagne in the morning."
