We absolutely had a wonderful time; how can we not, the beach is within walking distance and the people are super nice. We found the property run down, the bathroom is in need of repair, toilet leaking and shower barely any water was coming out. The beach chairs need either upgrades or replacements. We also found the restaurants in the area were either closed or out of business- It has a lot of pluses, the number 10 bus runs right by the property and you can take it downtown for a 1.50 pp and enjoy your day visiting the many stores and restaurants - If you are looking for relaxation this is definitely the place; however if you want loud music and lots of people and traffic you won't find it here.

The beach was semi private, which is nice stores , restaurants within walking distance , Lonah was very helpful and responsive to needs , you can take the jitneys for a 1.50 downtown which is great , its nice having the beach chairs , they do need new covers as these are showing alot of use but still useable. Great neighborhood as well.

Our stay at Blue Ocean Village was lovely. We stayed in the Bimini Studio which was exactly as advertised. Less than a 30sec walk to an absolutely beautiful stretch of beach. There was enough seating/lounge chairs for about 18ppl, but there were never more than 4-6ppl (including us 2!) in the lounge area at a time - perfection! Lonah and the rest of the staff were very sweet and super attentive/easy to get a hold of. We visited Baha Mar, for an afternoon, which was your typical large scale resort and much preferred the privacy, quiet and serenity that Blue Village offered. We are already planning visiting in the future with the rest of the family!

We had an amazing stay in the Bahamas and Blue Ocean Village made it easy and affordable. The private beach is truly private for the village and many times we were the only ones there. Our pictures would never do it justice. We stayed in Exuma studio which was perfect for us. Everything is provided as far as sheets, towels , and any necessities. We had a cute outdoor area and had birds and chickens visit regularly. I don't think you can get the private beach or bird feel in a resort. Baha Mar is walking distance but super expensive. We went during the superbowl because we could not access on our YouTubeTV there. It is a very easy walk from Blue Ocean. We had a Miller Lite and glass of Pinot Grigio and it was 36 dollars. Yikes! There is a grocery store close by and a few liquor stores within walking distance. Lonah is incredibly helpful with any needs or questions you have when there. Big Momma Taxi was awesome and will take you to the grocery store or wherever. We loved our stay at Blue Village and hope to come back one day soon!! It's a non resort hidden gem!

The room was clean and nice. Very spacious. Needed to be aired out. We ended up buying candles and air fresheners. Opened windows when we could. Internet was spotty. We kept jumping from one internet to the next trying to watch something. I’d advise bringing a firestick as we couldn’t get anything to work on the tv. We did get YouTube to finally work and watched movies on there. Staff is helpful and pleasant. You can tell they are growing and learning. We have no regrets

Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit im Blue Ocean Village. Das Apartment entsprach genau den Bildern, war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zusätzlich benötigt: Strand- und Badetücher, Besteck, Geschirr, ein Kühlschrank sowie ausreichend Seife im Bad und Toilettenpapier, alles war vorhanden. Das Apartment liegt in einer Seitenstraße abseits der Hauptstraße, in einer Anlage mit mehreren Unterkünften. Dadurch fühlt man sich sehr sicher und es ist angenehm ruhig. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Strand: Er ist sehr privat und nicht überlaufen. Es gibt keine Verkäufer, die ständig Wassersportaktivitäten, Liegen oder Kokosnüsse anbieten. Gerade am frühen Morgen oder am Abend war es wunderbar ruhig perfekt, um zu entspannen oder in Ruhe schwimmen zu gehen. Meine Ansprechpartnerin war jederzeit erreichbar, wenn ich Fragen hatte oder mir bei etwas unsicher war. Dabei ging es nicht nur um die Unterkunft, sondern auch um Restaurants oder Aktivitäten, die ich mir privat ausgesucht hatte. Sie war immer sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und interessiert daran, wie es mir geht, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Ich würde diese Unterkunft bei meinem nächsten Besuch definitiv wieder buchen und kann sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Very clean and well equipped with all the comforts of home Host Lonah was onsite and greeted us daily and we were able to text her with any needs or questions She was super helpful with recommending restaurants within walking distance and even arranged transportation for us The beach was clean and private with chairs and gear for the water A huge plus was having access to the restaurants and facilities at Baha mar resort We did walk it early evening about 15 minutes but chose to take a $20 cab ride back later at night Btw great Chinese food across the road at wok and Roll We would love to return next year

We loved our stay at Blue Ocean Village. The location was great. There were plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. The beach area is amazing and the apartment itself was really great. The staff are amazing at communicating and went above and beyond with their customer care. We would highly recommend.

You had to walk between two private homes to get to the ocean. It was a pretty view when you got to the beach area, but the steps down to the beach & water were very unsafe so we were not able to get in the water ore even walk on the beach. There is no swimming pool either. 2nd) the frogs screeched all night long our first two nights so we left and relocated to a hotel.

It was my birthday trip. Blue Ocean Village made it incredible and unforgivable. Lonah is a very friendly and helpful host. We got everything that we need for one week stay. Clean all around the cottage (we stayed at Bimini),fresh bath and beach towels. Private beach was unexpected too "private." We were almost always by ourselves. I'm definitely recommending this place.
