Great houses. If you have older family or friends staying with you be prepared for a lot of stairs. The construction site next door was loud starting at 630am. Good communication with owners. Fun bars walking distance from house.

When we arrived, we soon found out the VRBO was completely surrounded by construction. The sidewalk was closed as well. We had to convince the construction crew to let us park. The construction was early and often. The above was an everyday occurrence. Our first interaction with the VRBO was a hornets nest on the deck as both my son and I were stung. As for the area, It is going to be a great area once the construction is over. As for the VRBO itself, the place suited all our needs. D is the better of the 2 units (C was the other).The windows were very dirty due to heavy construction. When talking with the manager reference the construction they really didn't seem to care. We made the best of it.

Spacious houses in convenient location

Both houses were very spacious. We enjoyed our stay and felt they suited our needs very wellClose to downtown and Broadway for all the bars and restaurants.

Not as advertised and many issues

The property (unit D) as advertised was wrong as there were no city views due to building that is being built between the property and the city, construction in adjacent lots was never mentioned and as such started at 6am Monday morning and lasted all day, many shades on the main level were missing, wifi was broken rendering the tv’s useless for streaming on any device and impacting smart thermostats, master shower water pressure lacking at best, shower door missing, ice machine not working, living room seating insufficient for size of unit and furniture extremely uncomfortable, bugs in the kitchen, roof top space chair seating insufficient around fire pit and table tops broken.

60th Birthday

Beautiful place, great area, easy trip to Broadway by foot or Lyft. Fun things close by as well! Rooftops are spectacular! Had lots of questions prior to trip( large group) both John and Emily got back to me with answer very quickly! Highly recommended! Will definitely be back! Thank you John and Emily!

Modern Nashville

We really enjoyed our stay at this property for my wife’s 40th birthday. It had plenty of space and all the features were quite updated. We had a few minor issues and questions at check-in, but the owners were very timely in response and accommodating to our requests.

Family Reunion

The location was great you could walk to a pizza restaurant, A brewery and a coffee shop. Good neighborhood and safe. We stayed in buildings C & D We had 13 family members both places were neat, clean, and well stocked we did contact the owners a couple times and they promptly replied

Thanksgiving Family Reunion 2023

We rented 3 of the units for our Thanksgiving Family Reunion this year and had a great time! The units were perfect for our family of 21 people; they are comfortable, great location and very nicely decorated. We highly recommend them and might rent all 4 next year!

Neighbors travel to Nashville

Property was clean, excellent communication with owners, however many downfalls. No shower door in one bathroom No propane for grill Broken outlets in bathroom TVs in 2 of the 4 bedrooms broken Smoke alarm goes off every time you use the kitchen Loud nightclub in backyard Living room furniture-beyond used For this price, we were very disappointed.

Excellent Stay

Big thank you to John, Emily, and Sam. The units were spacious, clean, and overall extremely comfortable (not to mention really nice looking). Proximity to downtown Nashville is perfect as well and the neighborhood had some fun places to grab a bite to eat and a drink. We had an excellent stay and would book again upon a return to Nashville in the future. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay and location for a couples trip!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful property! We got TWO condos! It was perfect as every couple has their own bathroom/space. The properties were so clean. There were more than enough dishes, towels, toilet paper etc. They even had full size body wash, as well as shampoo and conditioner and hair dryers in every bathroom. Great for those of us who fly in! Speaking of flying…..the overhead fans in the bedrooms were A++++. Thank you for those! The only thing I would suggest is to add a couple of full length mirrors in some of the bedrooms. There were 2-3 bedrooms that had them, but not all. The primary bathroom in unit D had a bit higher set mirrors, which was fine….but for us short folk, it was a bit hard to see in them. Also, there is a small bar right next door that plays music. If you are in unit D in the primary bedroom, the overhead fan and an app like “Calm” will drown it out! The check in and check out process was incredibly easy! The owners were so responsive and super quick to answer any questions we had. They even let us check in early to get our luggage dropped off! We enjoyed brunch at Earnest Hideaway and pizza at Diceys! Would recommend both! We have already referred this vacation rental to many, and we plan to book through them on our next visit! Thanks again for everything!

Beautiful Space - Lots of Stairs

We had a wonderful stay in Nashville at this property with a group of 6 couples. In the C and D townhomes, we had plenty of rooms for everyone and we all had our own bathrooms which made the stay extremely comfortable. These properties are BEAUTIFUL, well maintained and provided a great place to gather together. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully will. There were a few issues that did come up to highlight that might be helpful to others. The first was that the neighborhood is really loud at night. There was a loud music venue next door, lots of construction surrounding the property, and a set of railroad tracks close enough that they woke you in the middle of the night as the two trains went through each night. There are also two other townhomes that are rentable so there is a lot of activity in the location. The second was that we had a lot of trouble with the locks in the C property so it was not easy to get in and out of and that felt a bit unsafe and unsettling. When I told the property manager that we were having difficulty with the locks and getting into the unit, I was told that would be handled after we left which was not helpful so we had to go in and out of the garage rather than the front door. Not a big thing but leaving any inside doors unlocked doesn't feel secure. The AC unit was having difficulty in the D unit and workers were sent there to address it but inconvenient having workers on your site at 8:00 am to wake you up. After booking this property, the final total with all fees and taxes felt excessive but this may be an issue with VBRO specifically. Lastly, if you have anyone in your group that has difficulty navigating stairs or has any physical mobility disability, this would not be a good property for them. Even our relatively healthy group found themselves winded and sore from all of the stairs between the two properties. Otherwise, a great place for groups with young knees and backs!
