Mi é piaciuta la dislocazione, centrale per visitare musei, per trovare dove mangiare e vita serale. Appartamento ben tenuto con ambienti inteni carini. Non mi é piaciuto: la colazione era buona ma si trattava di una colazione al bar con una bevanda e una pasta, ma non la definirei abbondante. Il personale è stato disponibile e sollecito solo in alcuni casi (ad esempio ci hanno tenuti le valigie il giorno del check-out), in altri casi è stato poco sollecito (ad esempio abbiamo dovuto chiarire che era compresa la colazione, poi insistere ed aspettare ore affinché ci comunicasse dove fare la colazione). In tutti i casi il bilancio è positivo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Salotto Barbonico. The view overlooking the bustling Via Toledo was beautiful and added so much charm to the experience. The property was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and decorated with great taste. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent for exploring Naples. A special mention goes to Floriana, who was incredibly kind and responsive throughout our stay, even replying promptly to late-night WhatsApp messages when we needed assistance. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we would definitely love to come back.

B&B di qualità: pulito, accogliente, con cucinetta ben attrezzata. La nostra camera era con vista su Castel Sant' Elmo e Vomero. La pozione eccezionale in via Toledo, permette di raggiungere, anche a piedi, ogni punto di interesse in zona Quartieri Spagnoli. Inoltre, lì vicino si trova la fermata della metro Toledo (bellissima!)

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! DO NOT TRUST THE OWNERS. We had an awful experience at the Salotto barbanico hotel in Naples and an even worse experience when we got home. I wouldn’t put any family through this experience. When we arrived the main blind in the room didn’t work for the entire time and when asked repeatedly it still didn’t get fixed. So we had daylight from 5am every day. The power went off on the first day as there was a small fire in the electrics on the first floor. We had to sleep with the windows open as it was boiling hot and the noise from the road was terrible. We had no power for 2 days including no air con when its was nearly 40 degrees outside. No, electricity with no lights, no hot water, no own toilet and no shower for two days. We had to use the toilet in a separate room. Nobody came to see us in person once during the two days. It was very stressful for my kids. The owner Floriana kept messaging saying it would be fixed in a few hours and it took two days. It wasn’t her fault as there was a fire but like I said nobody came to see if we were ok. Floriana said she’d she’d refund some of our costs and I have contacted her every day for 26 days and she kept saying she would pay through Expedia and then her husband Francesco would pay but they have paid nothing. I have contacted Expedia many times who confirmed nobody has tried to contact them at any point. if you want a stress free holiday I beg you not to book this hotel as they are very untrustworthy!

Lovely place for two nights, adored the large balcony overlooking a busy street and stunning views. Very helpful and polite staff. The aircon was good but also clicks loudly through the night so bring ear plugs, and the shower water gets everywhere so put a towel down on the floor. The lift to the property on the 7th floor is small and tedious and costs 20 cents but sometimes it took the money and didn’t move but the b&b kindly provide coins once you have arrived. Great price and location and nice decor so I would recommend.

The property was in a prime location, with easy access to sightseeing, the metro, shops and dining. The B&B was a little hard to find, but the host was there to assist at the start. The room itself was very nice. However, there was no heat in the room (in the middle of winter!). The bathroom had no towel racks and the toilet malfunctioned. The biggest drawback was that during a 5-night stay, the elevator went out-of-order on day 2. Since we were on the 7th floor, it required us to use an alternate elevator to rise to the 8th floor, walk onto the roof to the other side of the building, and climb two flights of stairs back down to our room. There was no one around to ask for help. It was challenging on the last day to haul our luggage out of the building. BTW, the "rooftop terrace" described consisted of a bunch of satellite dishes and cables; no tables in sight. Since this was the start of our two-week trip in Italy, this was not an ideal situation. Although the location is great, with so many other options to stay in Naples, I would not recommend returning.

The flat is a cute little place. The location was not what we expected and getting up to the flat was unclear. It is advertised as a bed and breakfast, but the breakfast was a loaf of bread and jam left in the fridge.

A piece of quiet in Naples

We stayed at Salotto Borbonico three days at the end of August and love it. The owners were responsive and easy to communicate with. We didn't have any trouble arranging our arrival or finding the place.The rooms are spacious and clean, and since there are only a couple of rooms, the whole place is quiet and peaceful. They have amazing windows - Naples can get very noisy, but the room stayed very quiet and dark in the mornings thanks to the solid blinds (that also help with the afternoon sun). The location is excellent - it's facing a very beautiful cityscape and is located on a safe street that is well illuminated at night and a few steps away from several piazzas and streets with very active night life (restaurants, bars, pastry shops, etc). It is close to a metro station and a taxi stand is just around the corner, which makes it easy to get around the city and get to the train station/airport. Overall, we loved our stay there and would definitely stay at Salotto Borbonico when we visit Naples next time.

Spotlessly clean, friendly owner, great location

Very good location for walking to historical centre, archaeological museum, ferry port etc. Our room was modern,comfortable and extremely clean, with the benefit of a good balcony. On 7th floor of old building, there is a lift! Only three rooms, breakfast is laid out for you to take back to your room to eat (a small table is in the room.) Floriana was very helpful, a delightful person to deal with, giving us recommendations for eating out, and ordering a return taxi to the airport. Thank you Floriana and Fabio for a lovely stay.

Perfect Place to stay when in Napoli / Naples

This BnB is exactly as portrayed in the photos and description, if not better. Floriana, the host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is incredible. Ive stayed in 5 different BnB's throughout Italy on my trip and this was easily the best one. Very central to all that the city has to offer, so I was able to walk around the city throughout my entire stay. This is where I will stay if I return.

Good location

The host family was nice. They organised the check in and out well, also provided good info for local food and restaurants. the room was big, with a big balcony viewing the castle, beautiful during day and night. the room was cleaned daily well. Location was perfect to walk everywhere. Possible to find ice cream even at midnight just downstairs of the building. Overally we liked this bnb much.
