Metro Università Apartment by Wonderful Italy
Located on one of Naples' most historic and renowned streets, Corso Umberto I, this cozy apartment is on the second floor of an elegant building with a concierge service and an elevator.
The apartment features a bright living area with a fully equipped kitchenette, a smart TV, and a comfortable sofa bed. The sleeping area includes a double bedroom and a modern bathroom with a shower.
This apartment is the perfect choice for a comfortable stay in the city's heart, ideal for exploring the wonders of Naples with maximum convenience. The accommodation is located in the center of Naples, 100 meters from Piazza Borsa, right next to the historic center, as well as very close to the Promenade and the area of the Royal Palace and City Hall. All services are within a 5 to 10 minutes walking distance of the apartment, and given it is located inside the courtyard of an historic building, it provides a very quiet environment (especially during the night).
*Upon arrival or a few days before, you may be required to pay a tourist tax, the amount of which varies according to local regulations. You will find all the information regarding your booking in the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
“When you go to Naples, you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave,” they say. Naples is a unique city, best experienced by walking through its narrow streets, breathing in the aroma of its culinary delights, and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.
Naples is the birthplace of a unique culinary tradition, most notably its famous Neapolitan pizza. The art of Neapolitan pizza-making has even been recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
Strolling along Spaccanapoli, the street that splits the city in two, you can walk through its millennia-old history, passing by ancient palaces and churches such as the Naples Cathedral and the Maschio Angioino. If there is a symbolic place in Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now an emblem of the city's "Neapolitan Renaissance," where visitors come to admire its grandeur and two architectural gems: the neoclassical colonnade of the Church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace.
Today, you can also visit the underground city, or the so-called "belly of Naples," which served as a refuge for Neapolitans during bombings. Here, visitors can walk through the ancient Greek-Roman aqueduct, explore air-raid shelters, and visit the War Museum.
A must-see is the San Severo Chapel, home to the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious sculptures in Naples, created by the talented Giuseppe Sanmartino.
