Great spot, amenities were fantastic. You might want to check the hair dryers. Both of the ladies said they were running extremely hot.

The Perfect Vacation

This property could not have been more perfect! Spacious kitchen and living room. The location to the beach is unbeatable. We slept with the patio door open and the ocean lulled us to sleep. Check in was easy and staff were friendly and helpful. Having Captain Jack's on property is great for the days you don't want to cook, food and drinks were great! There were plenty of things within walking distance, shops and market.There are two pools the pool closest to the ocean is 4-5ft deep. The other pool (kiddie) is a nice sloped wading pool, with a hot tub attached for parents to hang out in! The property was well kept - there are grills on property and they were clean every time we went to use them.We were there in January, so weather was perfect. Not having AC was not an issue, but I could see possibly in the hotter months it could be too warm.We had an evening flight out and requested a late check out. Which was approved 48hrs before check in, we were happy to pay the fee to have a last day of lounging and enjoying the beach before our flight out.Highly recommended - looking forward to planning another stay soon.

Beautiful Property & Location

My family and I were excited to see the property looked as it did in the photos. The location was perfect, we were able to head down to the amenities all together or in pairs as we chose. There was something for everyone. Staying in the room and enjoying the view was all we needed some evenings. Our host/Property Manager, Kim was extremely helpful, she made checking in and out a breeze!

You can't stay closer to the beach than this property! Our second time at this resort. If you love sleeping with the doors open and listening to the ocean than this place is for you!

Loved our trip!

This condo is a great location, with a beautiful view. The beach is nice and sandy and all the accommodations we needed were within walking distance. The only downside to this condo is the fact that it does not have air-conditioning. We stayed at the end of July, and not having air-conditioning, meant it was very warm & sticky every night. I ended up buying 4 box fans, just so we could sleep! Other than that, everything worked out well!

Awesome location, incredible views, great layout for 5 people. We watched turtles from the balcony, enjoyed snorkeling right out front, and relaxed in the well equipped and comfortable condo. I’d stay here again for sure. As close to perfect as I can imagine.

Overall nice spot, few issues.

Hey! There were lots of reasons this place is very highly rated. The location and view is 100% 5 star! Walk out right on the beach that is really nice. Snorkel right out and see a ton without having to get in the car. A few things that are really not. Mainly the beds and bedding. These are literally 20 years old, very stiff and not what you would expect from a "5 star" location. They could easily go out and get a new mattress, some updates sheets, blankets and pillows. Easily! It needs to be done IMHO. I knew it by the pictures, but didn't think enough of it.

Great view!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The place was clean. We had the room we needed and everyone seemed to like the condo. The only concerns I had was the facility/grounds. Maintenance was lacking and the upkeep could use more attention. I realize this is not on the owners of the condo but basic “outdoors” cleaning and painting of the facility is overdue. I ran into another owner and they shared the same concerns. The location was impressive and the view amazing! The pool, hot tub, tennis courts and basketball were used and appreciated by our boys. There is equipment available at the front desk if you don’t happen to bring racquets or a basketball! Overall, great location! Thank you!

Overall our stay at Sands of Kahana was amazing. Our unit was nice but can use some updates, no air conditioning, and the main sofa needs to be replaced, I said this because when I first sat down I sunk all the way down and it had a funny smell. The kitchen are was very nice. The view from our 7th floor was unbelievable so overall I would stay there again.

Best view in Maui!

The view is amazing. You can see Lanai and Molokai from the balcony. We watched the turtles swim by every day. The beach is as close to a private beach as you could ask. The location is central to all the activities and sites we wanted to visit. We will be returning!

The room we stayed in was just perfect! We would choose the exact same one upon return. The view was unbelievable! One of our favorite parts of our stay was just watching the whales and turtles from our balcony. The communication with owners was excellent! You will not be disappointed!

Great Family Location

Overall property was great. Loved the views, the restaurant, pool, and beach were fantastic. Check-In Process was rough as Early Check-In was cancelled on us and then confusion and miscommunication about when we would have access to the property but it all worked out in the end.

Wonderful Holiday

Our stay at the Sands of Kahana was excellent. We really enjoyed watching the humpback whales and turtles from the lanai as we sipped our morning coffee. The condo was very spacious and clean. The beach outside the property was great for boogie boarding and paddle boarding. The Sands Of Kahana is also very close to excellent snorkeling beaches. We can't wait to go back.

This condo provided great benefits for the money. Amazing view! Condo is wonderful. Beds in guest room too small for our adult sons but other than that everything was perfect! Great beach - not too crowded! Breakfast in the restaurant was good. Short walk to a few places and everything else is short drive. Would stay again!

Beautiful views

We stayed for a week in this condo through New Years. Found it clean with plenty of space for storage. The view from the lanai is perfect. The sunsets will be missed. Plenty of towels and bedding. Kitchen is stocked with basics. Pool and hot tub wasn't to busy and we enjoyed that daily. Condo is close to shopping and anything else needed.
