"I only stayed here for one night but it was amazing. Enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant, Took a walk around the property and it was beautiful, the room was great and the beds were very comfortable. The front staff were friendly and helpful. I can’t say much about the fitness room or the fishing or the pool as I did not have a chance to use any extra amenities."

"The hosts were very friendly, helpful and had great communication. The property was very clean and beautifully rustic. Just a heads up for those travelling with more than two people and those that value privacy- the bathroom doesn’t have an actual door (just separated by curtain) nor does the bedroom. No fault of the hosts just something we had to get used to as four adults. The toilet will take some getting used to with the flushing but we had no problems. Just has to be diligent with the tissue paper in the garbage. The kitchen was beautifully stocked with a gorgeous table and stove."

"The house was clean and what an amazing spot! The beach was beautiful and we had great trip. We would love to come back and rent it again! Communication was good and check in was very smooth. Thank you!!"

"Everything was lovely except the weather. Never would have guessed that we would get 3 days of rain showers during the last week of July! Hopefully the weather will be better in 2027 as we plan to book the cottage again."

"House was spacious. Nice views! Well stocked kitchen. 3 Bdrms & 2 bath in house. The house isn’t waterfront and it’s on a very steep hill. We were hoping to paddleboard & kayak. You cannot carry those down to the beach and we didn’t have the right vehicle to transport them so that was a big disappointment. Also please note that you are asked to take all your own garbage, recycling etc off the island to the landfill which is 10 and a drive. That was a pain in the butt in our opinion. Fantastic fishing in the area!"

"This place was perfect for our needs — 2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 11). The weather wasn’t great, but we still got out on our paddle boards easily from the dock every day. It was perfect to warm up by the fire. We saw seals, otters, and lots of birds from the house. Kitchen was well stocked, and the communication from the hosts was great. We left something at the house, and they went above and beyond to help us get it back. Would definitely recommend the house and/or stay again."

"The house is unique and spacious and makes the most of the fantastic view. We saw seals and a humpback whale.It is well equipped and convenient for Rebecca Spit (swimming) and the ferry. Jason, the host, was friendly and helpful. All round an excellent stay."
