Whole home was unclean on arrival. Owner charged us for rental insurance after we left. Had to cancel card after leaving rental. Owner did not answer my query about the rental insurance charge when asked. Do not trust owner.

Enough room for my entire family

We traveled to Boise for my daughter’s wedding. I chose this location because it was close to the venue. There were 8 people, 5 of which were adults and we still had room for more! The house was plenty big enough and well kept, neighborhood was quiet and nice.

This property met our needs perfectly! The five bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (two of which are within bedrooms) accommodated our family grouping of 2 couples, a young couple with 2 young kids and a dog, and 3 other adults.The outside space with a table, fenced-in yard and play set were wonderful for the young family! We had many family members in town for my father's memorial service, and we were able to host meals for up to 30 people and the house served as the gathering place. I would highly recommend this property!

Location and size were perfect

Location and size of the house was perfect. When 1st person arrived it was discovered that it hadn’t been completely cleaned. I called and by 10pm there were people there cleaning the rooms that had been missed. That responsiveness was expected and yet relieving at the same time. One member of our group did end up at a hotel that night due to traveling with kids and the uncertainty about cleaners, but they joined us the second night. The deck was great. It was exactly as I expected it to be knowing the area.

Comfortable and Quiet

We had a fantastic time staying at this house. It was comfortable and spacious. The owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. We would stay there again.

Saving grace

We were temporarily homeless and this house was big enough for all of us and was a good price. We stayed for a month so we got to know the house well. There were issues with the stove, front door lock, and toilet that were resolved but owner didnt respond timely half the time. We were also charged double for one charge that hasnt been resolved. The property was cleaned but the carpets were horribly stained. They needed to be professionally cleaned or replaced. Other than these things we enjoyed our stay in this 1960 built eccentric layout house. It has a gorgeous view of the Owyhee mountains that we loved waking up to and felt at home for the month we stayed hrre.

Our holiday stay

The house was located at the end of the road which made it quiet and secluded. We all enjoyed are stay immensely. Very quiet location was a big plus. Close to stores. Big plus. Julie our host was awsome. Thanks again

Thanksgiving stay

House was perfect for a large family Thanksgiving together and was pet-friendly which is a huge bonus. If you are looking for white-glove perfection, this is not the house for you, but it is a great place to stay if you want to relax with a beautiful view in a great neighborhood

pleasant retreat

we stayed for a family vacation and this place was perfect. Very clean, layout split up and a little old school mixed with new as well. Quiet, with lots of room inside and out. Would stay again.

Lovely House

This house was so great for us while we in the area visiting family. It has several gathering spaces and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Everything was perfect for our family gathering.

The property was great. Plenty of rooms, lots of room for all of us to spread out. We were all enthralled with the rabbits on the property. The view was amazing and was certainly enjoyed for both sunrise and sunset. We had all the amenities of home and I personally will not stay in a hotel again, this is the way to go.

Great family home

As a family with 8 children, this property was fantastic. There was so much room for everyone and the kids loved the yard and space to play. The property managers were also very responsive to any questions/concerns we had and were very, very nice. We loved our stay here.

Great place

My family of 7 adults and 4 kids stayed here over Christmas. We had a great time with a lot of space for each group to have quiet time and plenty of time together. The beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was the kitchen seemed to be lacking in the essentials for cooking our meals. However, we managed to use the items available and cooked a great Christmas dinner! Would definitely stay here again.

Roomy but filthy

This stay started off badly and didn’t get much better. Let’s start off with the only positive: The space was as big as described. We had plenty of room and beds for 6 adults, 3 kids under 5, and a newborn. The kitchen area was mostly updated, as were parts of the master suite. The house is filthy. We checked in around 4:30, and realized the the upstairs had not been cleaned very well. Contacted the hosts, and they sent a person to clean it within 30 minutes. Impressive. She apologized and said she needed at least another hour to finish. We didn’t want to be there during this, so we left. And finished checking in when she was done, about 6:15. Our biggest issue was the laminate flooring: It was filthy. The cleaner came back to sweep, but those floors have not really been cleaned in a long time. We stared to put things in the fridge and freezer. That was a problem. There were open containers of ice cream and frozen soda bottles, and the fridge had open containers of tomato sauce and paste and bottles of bbq sauces. The shelves had not been pulled out and wiped down in quite a while, as there were spills between the glass shelves. As our group started arriving, other things were discovered as they started putting things away: Earwigs in bedding, family photos and personal belongs on the walls and shelves. Plastic indoor plants that had not been wiped down or dusted in a VERY long time. Not what we’ve come to expect in our previous VRBO experiences.
