This property was amazing! The young lady who checked me in was very kind and was able to accommodate me on transportation back to the airport. I would gladly return to this establishment.
The hotel was very nice and clean, but the staff are the stars here.
Everyone from the restaurant to the front desk was kind and helpful.
Specifically Betty at reception. She went above and beyond to help me during my stay.
Amazing stay in Sarova Woodlands.
The rooms aren’t massive but are very comfortable.
The AC is great.
The shower has great water pressure and the I had the best nights sleep in the bed.
Unbelievably helpful staff. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Extraordinary service. Great food. They really go out of their way to make it a home away from home.
Everyone at the Sarava Woodlands was kind, welcoming, and helpful. The service is impeccable, the grounds are beautiful, and it's very comfortable and welcoming. We had a workshop at the hotel with local community members. The hotel provided everything we needed--tea, snacks, lunch, projector, paper, writing materials, etc., for a very fair price. Our workshop members were very happy and the day went smoothly. My group had a miscommunication among us about transportation, but the hotel was able to arrange transportation at 9pm for an 8am pickup of 25 people the next day. Our group checkout was a little complicated, but Betty was a pro and managed everything quickly and professionally. I have no complaints at all about the hotel and will stay there again.
Potitives:
Everything at Sarova woodlands is excellent, the service, attention to guests, the Breakfast Buffet had varieties and i especially treasured the healthy kenyan cuisine of veges, arrowroots, sweetpotatoes etc. Everyday there was new food items!
Negatives: The fact that the health club incl the gym and the Spa were/are still unavailable. The information about this should, in my opinion be on the FRONT pages given the fact that it is a spa Hotel and not on the last pages where i found out later, after i had already booked for a week. That really bothered me, as i workout every day and i would have loved a spa day!
(b)There is 24 hours housekeeping, the downside is that they ( sometimes) drag and pull furniture that woke me up several times during the night.
Otherwise an excellent hotel with comfort, security, excellent service, very friendly staff and great food!
Thank you Sarova woodlands Nakuru!
All of the staff were wonderful!! They helped us with whatever we needed. They were always smiling and willing to assist us whenever we needed. We will definitely be back next year and book this hotel again.
This is a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens. The room is smartly designed, comfortable, and clean. Though I had a bit of issue with wifi but was resolved soon.
The check in was really smoth .friendly customer service.and my stay was absolutely amazing. They showed me where my room was .even guided me to the breakfast area .big thank you to harriet and her friend in the breakfast area .super friendly .great job guys.i will be staying afain for sure .
overall my experience was great I felt very comfortable with safety and security staff were nice food was very good room was great overall but for one thing it was an on going issue so it really hurt my experience... I live in the North East United States.. my trip was in July which is normally the coolest month in Kenya... over nights 50 daytime 70 so for me that would be perfect!!! however my rooms A/C was never able to cool the room the two nights I stayed... It was 78 degrees in my room.. for the locals that's cold.. but for me that's hot!! after having staff come to the room and check the A/C only to be told it's working.. totally ruined things. I like to sleep at night but not in a hot! room... so I'm not sure how great this place would be the rest of the year when it's hot in Kenya... I asked for a fan but that was not an option.. I would suggest to the hotel to have a few fans for guests it would have made a world of difference..
