"Clean room and very kind staff. A lot of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was basic with "continental' and Korean options, but was adequate. Parking space is sufficient. When it is tricky, the staff will help you for free. Adding a door for the toilet inside the bathroom would be nice for the privacy and simultaneous use of the toilet and bathroom sink by two family members. Adding a closet / drawer would be handy for those staying more than a couple of days."

"The location is very near the KTX terminal so it's convenient for travelers. If you drive, they have parking which they will take your keys as soon as you check in. They do serve breakfast but I didn't visit the restaurant. There is a coffee shop attached, and Edeya and Starbucks are both within a block of hotel. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds."

"The private tub and dry sauna experience was truly unique and memorable. My family and I love Japanese ryokan-style accommodations, and this was one of the most affordable ways we've experienced it. For less than $100, we had a large private soaking tub that comfortably fit all three of us while we relaxed and watched Netflix. Having a dry sauna right next to the tub inside our room made the experience even better. The room itself was smaller than some of the other places we stayed during our trip, and there was only one small air-conditioning unit. After using the hot tub and sauna, the room stayed quite warm and took about one to two hours to cool down enough for comfortable sleeping. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast, which included Korean cup ramen and toast, was simple but satisfying. The hotel also offered free washer and dryer facilities as well as a gym, which worked perfectly for travelers like our family who were on a road trip. For the price, it's hard to complain. The private spa experience alone made it worth the stay. 9 out of 10. I would happily stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our 6 day stay. The washing machine and air-con worked so well. There were no strange noises and the coil bed was so comfortable. We slept well every night. The bathroom had a bidet which was helpful. The room itself was probably the usual size here but for us it just was enough. We had 4 bags and we had to shuffle things around whenever we opened one. Although no laundry detergent nor kitchen detergent (we supplied our own) it was still good. We also went to local Daiso (best stocked one so far on our trip) at Lotte Mart MAXX across street for done light camping dishes and cups (we brought our own chopsticks). Lotte Mart was also good for discounted sushi and sashimi after 7:30pm! The hotel loaned us a clothes dryer rack which was really appreciated. Our room was high up but try to get a room above 16 because those higher floors had 2 lifts whereas ours had only 1 lift and that meant we had to wait a bit sometimes to go up or down. I liked that you could open the tilt window to let in fresh air but we didn’t do that much. They provided 2 bottles of water every day and were able to clean our room daily if we wanted them to. Our toilet blocked twice during our stay but they have a janitor on call and he sorted it out within 10 mins. I think the first time was due to batteries going flat in the bidet remote controller as I saw him change the batteries (controller controls flushing). No toothbrushes but we had our own ones. Lots of good Korean restaurants too."

Gwangju W Lounge Hotel

"This hotel is in a great location. I was able to walk to the Uncheon Reservoir to see the Cherry Blossoms and find some great places to eat. The Gwangju National Museum is only a 15 min. Taxi ride away. The room has a steam cleaning machine to press or refresh your clothes! The only thing that was wrong with the room is the mattress is SUPER hard. I actually ended up sleeping on the couch in the room as it was much more comfortable. I only wish the mattress was softer and the stay would have been perfect. "
