I would give the house layout, cleanliness, and location 5 stars. We were very close to the ocean, good restaurants, putt putt courses, bumper boats, grocery stores, and just general shopping. The pool was larger than expected and very enjoyable. But I can only give the overall review perhaps 2 stars. The dishwasher leaked badly the first time we used it. A repair man came and said not to use it till we heard back from them, which never happened. The clothes washer was filled with apparently dirty water, so we could never use that. A repairman did come and leave a note saying not to use it. Since the master bath was only given one bath towel, we asked for more bath towels, which we received. Since we had to do dishes by hand, we asked for more dish towels and dish detergent, which we never received. The bedroom with the bunk beds had a musty smell. Also there were two burnt out light bulbs, the kitchen clock needed batteries, and the kitchen sink drained extremely slowly. These last items were not a big deal, but just indicate a general lack of oversight and attention to detail. I do wonder how the company could be unaware of these conditions, especially the two unusable and very much needed appliances. I would not recommend this property to a friend unless there were guarantees that they would be treated better than we were.
