433, "Sounds Great," is a beautiful Nags Head canal-front rental home nestled in the quaint community of Nags Head Cove. This tri-level home provides amazing views of the sound and canal from every window and deck. With a spacious, landscaped yard, park-style grill, 7-person water-side hot tub, three levels of furnished deck space, and private dock with space for boat docking, you and your family can enjoy relaxing outside activities within steps of the home. This OBX rental home also offers a spacious interior for a variety of family sizes to enjoy after a day at the beach, including a great room that allows for family fun with in-home entertainment and high-speed Wi-Fi while preparing a meal with the easy to use kitchen appliances.

Old Nags Head Cove is a wonderful OBX sound-front community with boating canals and has a central Nags Head location that is close to the beach (w/ lighted pedestrian cross-way), Jockey's Ridge Dunes (featuring a new bike path leading there), restaurants, historical sites like the Wright Brothers Memorial and Bodie Island Lighthouse, Outlet Mall Shopping, water sports, and so much more to keep entertained for your entire stay!

All of our homes in the Old Nags Head Cove Community have access to the ONHC Clubhouse which offers a Nags Head Sound-Front pool for $6 per person per day or $135 for the entire week for a group up to 6. The association also offers a club house, sound front picnic area, sound front basketball & volleyball court, a boat ramp on Albacore St ($45 per boat plus $10 key deposit), and a private sound-front beach access area.

So sit outside and enjoy the views in your private hot tub or have fun fishing and crabbing on the private dock with bench seating and working water. No matter how you decide to spend your vacation week, you'll enjoy every moment with this beach home, creating wonderful vacation memories for you and your family.

Please contact Cove Realty of Nags Head for more information on this home's linen rental package. Also, Cove Realty is a Green company that limits excessive waste.  As such, linens, toiletry items, cleaning supplies, and so forth, are not supplied at the rental home, so please be mindful to bring these with you or be ready to purchase upon arrival to the Outer Banks.

First OBX Stay

This property was great. It is exactly what it says it is and my family loved it. My kids loved going swimming in the pool and off the dock. It is close to the beach and not far from restaurants and very close to a grocery store. I only wish the kitchen was a little bigger but really had no issues as I was the only one cooking anyway.

OBX Family Vacay 2019

Beautiful property and well priced! Great location close to everything and beautiful views of sound from the sun room. The only negative is the beds aren't very comfortable. Other than that the home is amazing and we had a great trip!

Wonderful stay

This was our first trip to OBX and won’t be out last. The house was perfect for us with two young boys. They fished off the dock in the back every time we had a free second. The hot tub was icing on the cake. Easy to get to the beach, which was clean, spacious and so enjoyable! Great time!

433 Sounds Great was great, but could use a few upgrades.

The location and floor plan was great! Some of the furniture is dirty and getting old and the carpet had some stains. The blankets in the closets and the bedspreads appear to be dirty. Could use some upgrades. We had a few calls to make to Cove Realty for the bathroom fan being broken, the stove was very dirty in and under the pans and the freezer was making noises. They responded quickly and took care of it. Overall we had a wonderful family time. Unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage of being on the canal during our week because weather was not cooperating. So we had to find other activities which were plenty in Outer Banks. We really enjoyed spending a week in the Outer Banks.

Awesome place

Love the house and location! Cove realty was amazing. They called to check in on us on first day make sure everything was ok and if there was anything we needed. The house is amazing beautiful views,plenty of space. I have 3 adult children in their 20s with spouces so everyone needs their privacy.We loved the hot tub! The outdoor shower great getting clean before you go in it had hot water. The dock had crab traps and the kids fished and caught crabs.We were close to everything and far enough back to be peaceful. I can't say enough about the house and OBX we loved it.The only thing I can think to mention is the stairs it was more than I thought. I have bad knees from a wreck years ago so it did start to bother them. It wouldn't keep me from renting the house again just wanted to mention so anyone else with the same problem. Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home and Cove realty for making the process easy.

House was not clean!

Upon arrival, we could tell the house wasn’t cleaned well. We received several emails prior to arrival about the new extensive cleaning they were doing and to expect not to get in until check in time (4:00 PM), which is fine, but then we received a call at 1:30 that our house was ready. Obviously we got in early because of the poor job they did at cleaning. Crumbs on chairs, bar stools, and counters. All of the dishes were disgusting. We found food in the floor of the bedrooms. All of the furniture had covers on them, they had crumbs and dirt on them, and you can tell they do not get cleaned. The refrigerator had a strong fish smell to it when we arrived and we noticed fish juice in it that we had to clean up. We voiced our concerns to Cove Realty about all these things and they didn’t seem concerned. They dropped off 2 boxes of baking soda on the front porch. They didn’t even go in and see how bad the fridge smelled. The location of this house and the exterior was very nice, but we won’t book this house or any with cove realty.

Great rental

Wanted to get out and do some kayak fishing on the dock in the backyard made this super simple. Has had a terrific layout especially if you were going with two families. Upstairs of house had beautiful kitchen family room seating area TV Dash great for hanging out and relaxing. Hot tub was amazing terrific deck overlooking the canal in the back with a decent view of the sound in the other direction. Location put you with a short driving distance of many good restaurants grocery stores the beach even the dollar store!House had a turret room up off the family room that offer great light for the wife to do needlepoint and other projects and wonderful views all around.

Fit our family of 7

This house fit our family of 7 perfectly. The house was very clean. The neighborhood quiet. Enjoyed the view of the sound. Loved having the hot tub to relax in. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and we appreciated the washer and dryer for towels and clothing. A quick 5 minute drive to the ocean, sound or sand dunes. The location was perfect to bring our small children to the local attractions. We were very happy with our stay!

OBX 1st week after opening.

We had a good time considering that it was the 1st week the OBX had opened to visitors after the covid-19 shutdown. The house was excellent and had access to channel which allowed us to fish. The weather wasn’t cooperating with us, but we made the best out of our time. Was really close to the sound and the beach and we made it to the bench twice. Was able to get some fishing done, but would have been better if the weather wasn’t so bad. Overall it was still a relaxing time, and had plenty good food due to local seafood market. Would definitely do this trip again.

OBX is great!

This property has the potential to be great! However, after driving 10 hours, I walked into a rental that was so dirty and disgusting I was not even sure I could stay there. But having my kids and grandkids with me I had to pull up my big girl panties and clean my rental. All the furniture was not only stained but there were crumbs or dried up food in every crease, on the floors and even on the bed covers. No one had cleaned anything except the bathrooms. No seeeping, no vacuuming, no counters wiped. No had checked to see if the pots and pans were cleaned. And themn to top it off one of the beds had a mattress pad with blood on it left on the bed. So before I could unpack anything I had to clean and sanitize enough to make it possible for my family to be comfortable. I did call the realty company but it was already after 6pm so getting someone to rectify this was not an option. They did send someone over the next day but by then I had pretty much done a cleaning. I realize this is a rental but I did not expect such disregard for the health of the renter. No one from either VRBO or the Realty company had done even a quick walk through for a very long time or maybe ever. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. And all this occurred after I had made the Realty company aware that I needed a very well cleaned unit due to respiratory health issues of my children. I hope no one has to deal with this issue. I requested a partial refund and they are refunding the cleaning fee only, pretty sad.
