We went to watch the Grand Prix in Suzuka - as all the buses to the track go from Shiroko this is not a brilliant location. There are not many local facilities within walking distance.
The hotel is basically a sex hotel. Its possible to book the rooms by the hour and via a computer screen in reception so no-one has to see you. The rooms are sound proofed, and the decor is very bordello.
On the positive side there is a karaoke machine in the room and a gambling machine if thats your thing. There are 7 TV channels - 1 is golf the other 6 are 'adult content'. The bed was rock hard, but as my husband pointed out we were probably the only people actually interested in sleeping in it (gross). There was a jacuzzi bath, and lots of amenities in the bathroom. Its quirky, a bit weird but fairly clean, and if I spoke Japanese I might have realised before i got there it was a brothel.
