Comfortable and clean for our family trip

The location was fairly convenient. The Nagoya station was a 10 minute walk away, while the nearest underground shopping street entrance with access to the station was merely 5 minutes away. There were plenty of dining options in the area. The room had enough space for us to lay suitcases flat, and it was pretty clean and comfortable. Our room faced the elevated road outside. Occasionally we could hear traffic, but it did not bother us. We stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast buffet offered a decent selection of Japanese and western food, but the choices were the same every day. We wished there were rotations of different dishes. There was no self-serve laundry in the hotel, but there were coin laundry shops within 12 minute walk. Overall, we were satisfied with the stay.

My family and I stayed at The ibis style Nagoya for 2 nights in early July. The check-in was fine. We stayed at a standard room with two twin beds. The room size is good, it is modern and clean. The shower, washroom and sink are separated. There is no space to dry and dress up after the shower. It is 10 10-minute walk from the Nagoya station. There is a Family Mart near the hotel. We use the luggage delivery service to deliver our baggage to Tokyo. The reception staff help us to take care of the reservation, and we just need to leave the baggage at the reception counter before 11 am on the checkout day. Our baggage arrived on the same day at our Tokyo hotel. Stress free! I will recommend this hotel.

Very good over-all for this family of 4. It had all the amenities needed in a fairly good sized room by Japan standards. Breakfast buffet spread was commendable though it lacked variety for our 5 day stay. Service at the restaurant was good but I found the service of the front office staff whp attended to me at check in not at all very welcoming. Its relatively close proximity to Nagoya Station is a big plus as was the plethora of dining options nearby.

The location is about 10 mins walk from the station, which is acceptable. There are lots of local eateries around the area. The room is design is a bit weird. The toilet and the shower are located in two different rooms. The shower is small, with no hangers whatsoever. It is difficult to even bring a towel into the shower.

It was supposed to be a 10 min walk from the station but took us much longer somehow. We finally found the best way to get to and fro just before we left Nagoya. The accommodation does not provide coffee, tea, sugar and cream strangely. The staff wasn’t the most helpful after all.

A very chic hotel with a well thought out design for the rooms at very reasonable prices. Everything was super clean, liked all the extras of toiletries by the front desk. Did find it a bit disappointing that one had to sign up to a website to get the "free beverage". Signing up was not easy, so I did not follow through. When inquiring about breakfast, we were told a big group staying and we were sort of discouraged by the front desk from having breakfast at the hotel restaurant the next day. When we did leave, there was many empty tables for breakfast at the restaurant. This had us a bit confused and not feeling particularly welcome, so we decided to have breakfast close to the train station instead. This was the only negative of the stay.

Modern room. Spacious enough. Good that the toilet and shower rooms were separate but we found it a bit weird that the sink was outside the bathroom. Also there weren't any hooks/shelves in the shower room to hang your towel/clothes. You need to leave them outside. And there was a full length mirror opposite the bathroom so people sitting on the bed could see you as you come out. It's ok for a couple but if you're with friends there's no privacy at all. Buffet breakfast was good. Not too many items but was ok. Hotel walking distance to nagoya station. Restaurants nearby, also a 7-11 across the street.
