「We stayed at Hotels Umaiyyal Home Stay for 3 nights. The rooms are very good and spacious. They were tidy and well-maintained. However, during our stay, the lifts were not operational. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor, so we had to use the stairs for two days. The staff here is not proactive; they wait until we complain, and follow-up is required. The hotel is a bit far from the beaches and the Vivekananda memorial. It would be a better option if you are traveling by car or bike, as...

「View from Classic double room sea view are covered by gloomy old tree so I asked them to change the room. They assigned me somewhat smaller but upper floor room but view from the room satisfied me enough. All staffs work good but some receptionists are somewhat blunt. Amenities are old and poor but not useless. Hand towel and conditioner are needed. View from rooftop are incredibly beautiful. Very close to beach and temple. If I had a chance to visit Kanyakumari, I would stay there.」
