I was very worried about booking Anchorage II. Our first trip to Myrtle Beach a few years ago was horrible. Upon arrive we had food thrown at us from balcony, pictures we saw of our room were nothing like the room we had. And the stay just got worse as the days went by! So booking the Anchorage II I was hoping for the best but not expecting it to be as nice as the pictures looked. BUT IT WAS! It was VERY clean and a nice size. We have two boys 15 and 17 so lots of room for everyone! Master bedroom was big and had a bathroom. Had full washer/dryer, then second room had two twin bed and I believe a trundle (we didn't use) and a second bathroom in the hall. Big living room and dining room table. The grounds and pool were pretty and clean also. I wanted to stay right on the beach, but this was across the street. Probably shorter walk (less than a minute) than if we stayed in a huge complex right on the beach. We were in unit 205. We had a view of the ocean, wish it was a little better view but still every nice. They have a shower at the beach and pool to risen off all the sand from the beautiful beach. The location was great. We did, what felt like a million, mini golfs-LOL, went to the Pirate Voyage dinner show, did escape room games, go carts, Broadway on the Beach, Barefoot Landing, restaurants and of course enjoyed the beach. Next time we go back to Myrtle Beach I will be sure to stay at the Anchorage II again. If I had any cons it would be that the bathroom/kitchen in our unit were a little dated, still nice, just dated and tub/shower was narrow. But again that would not stop me from renting there again. I look forward to our next trip down south again...soon I hope!
