"Wow, what an absolute gem of a lodge to stay at. Super cool setting nestled in the forest just under Iwatake skifield. Genuine original Japanese ski lodge for a neat authentic experience. "

"The breakfast was wonderful. Something for everyone. Also the daily outdoor winter lunch was very good too. One night we had the Chef’s dinner and it really was excellent. No point arriving before your room is ready because there is literally nothing to do, even though the room may be ready, you can’t have it till 3pm. "

"Such a wonderful experience. This smaller, quaint, relaxing spa was just the retreat we were looking for after 2 weeks of city life. We really enjoyed the slower pace, the food, and close proximity to Snow Monkey Park and Shiga Kogen."

"Nice hotel. Service was helpful but not always polite. Most people where great though. Dinner is over priced and not the greatest. Rooms where nice and clean and a good mix of traditional and modern."
"I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay! Not only was everything super clean, everyone was absolutely awesome! From recommending and booking amazing dining reservations for us, to accommodating requests, and setting us up with a life changing Thai massage, this place and the people who run it deserve to be highlighted for the unparalleled excellence they provide. We made lifelong memories and lifelong friends, and we can't wait to come back!"
"It was a pleasure to stay here. The staff is kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The Seki ski area is next door and it’s a wonderful, small, family run place."
"Not only is this lodge one of kind, the owners and staff set it apart by offering a very special experience for all guests. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by the owner welcoming us in and getting us settled in our room. They made sure we got sorted in the morning and ready for our Myoko Adventure. We will be back, only question is how many times!!!"
