The resort is set high up with stunning views all around. Our room had everything that we needed, all of high quality and managed by a fabulous housekeeping team, with hot tub and day bed outside and gorgeous sunset views. The pool and bar area during the day was relaxing and staff were attentive, friendly and always on hand. We felt that the breakfast could be much improved, the buffet was not replenished and service was poor if you arrived after 10 when everyone tended to arrive it was chaotic with not enough staff and they themselves agreed. A hot menu would be advantageous rather than just asking what eggs you would like. We had stayed at other hotels on the island where the breakfast experience was far better. Overall we were not impressed by the food however there are other hotels and places on the beach to eat. The driver Michael was always available to drop you at the beach and pick up, he was brilliant and gave us lots of useful information about the other hotels and the island. The beach is gorgeous, plenty of complimentary sunbeds, and a lovely high quality taverna. The seclusion of the property gives privacy and relaxation, perfect for those looking for exclusivity, the hotel offers their driver for your use or helicopter however if you are looking to be able to get out and about at your leisure I would suggest a car or perhaps stay at one of their other hotels closer to the beach.

It’s beautiful with stunning views. Very clean and safe but the WiFi signal was weak in my room which was a huge issue for especially for what i paid to stay there.

Hotel de reputação duvidosa

Chegamos no hotel e logo na recepcao estava o gerente nos aguardando, ele foi super gentil o tempo todo, nos levou no nosso quarto e disse que tinha uma surpresa para nós, bem ele havia colocado agente em um quarto vila, que seriam o espelhamento de dois quartos comuns, porém havíamos reservado um outro hotel de nível superior da rede e ao invés de cancelar para nos dar o direito de buscar uma nova opção, nos entubaram um quarto duplo para 6 pessoas as 23 horas, o que obviamente nos deixou sem saída, esse quarto maior para um casal nao serve de nada! O Hotel onde ficariamos era um hotel super exlusivo, o mais top da rede porem para nossa grande surpresa ele estava fechado, seria como voce tivesse reservado o Burj Al Arb e te colocassem no hotel de categoria inferior ao lado, sem te avisar antecipadamente, mas em um quarto duplo!! Bem infelimente a experiência que esperavamos nao foi a contratada e nao acho que isso é uma atitude desenosta do hotel, nos sentimos lesados e sem duvida saímos de lá muito decepcionados, tome cuidado para não acontecer o mesmo com você, isso pode ser determinante para estragar suas férias

Das Panoptis ist die neuste Unterkunft der Myconian Collection und ab sofort unser liebstes Hideaway in Europa. Es ist erst seit einem Monat geöffnet und bietet viel Privatsphäre und Platz in einem hochwertigen, aber entspannten Umfeld. Mit seiner Lage auf dem Berg oberhalb von Elia Beach ist der Ausblick einfach umwerfend. Zwar befinden sich alle 22 Zimmer im selben Gebäude, trotzdem sieht und hört man die anderen Gäste fast nie. Wenn man möchte, kann man sich in das 2 Minuten entfernte Schwesterhotel Utopia fahren lassen. Dabei haben wir nie länger als 5 Minuten auf einen Fahrer warten müssen. Überhaupt sind alle Angestellten super freundlich und vorbildlich geschult. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass der GM von Utopia und Panoptis, Costas, immer (!), vom frühen Morgen bis um Mitternacht, an der Rezeption zu finden ist und sich um die Belange der Gäste kümmert. Wir haben gleich bei Anreise seine Mobilnummer bekommen und hätten ihn damit jederzeit direkt kontaktieren können. Das ist ein Service, den ich bisher nur eine einziges Mal zuvor im Upper House in Hong Kong erlebt habe. An sich besteht aber keine Notwendigkeit, das Zimmer zu verlassen. Eine Badhose (wenn überhaupt) reicht als Gepäck und man genießt die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit der Villa bis zur Abreise. Daher ist das Panoptis das perfekte Hideaway für Paare oder Familien mit älteren Kindern. Wer Party auf Mykonos machen möchte, ist wahrscheinlich andernorts besser aufgehoben.
