Mediocre at best

When we arrived there was no one there to greet us. One of the gentlemen that lives there ended up letting us in, as we didn’t get any responses when calling the numbers on the door. The room was small. Most of the light bulbs were burnt out. The water from the faucet was a dark orange color and sprayed water and made violent noises. Had the run the tap for around 5 minutes just to get clear functional water. The wifi didn’t work. We contacted the property manager via VRBO the personal said this is a known issue and that the proper owner would be contacting us. Never happened. The comforter on the bed was LITERALLY the window curtain just on the bed! Not worth the money. Just stay at a hotel. The location was the only saving grace.

Pros: Air conditioner worked well, towels included, mini fridge included, the shower had a curtain, the room and bathroom had decent lighting, and I liked how there was a mini patio set outside my door in the courtyard. Cons: No hand soap to be found, there was an ant hill inside the door of the room so I found lots of little ants everywhere, could feel bedsprings in the mattresses and pillows very lumpy, cobwebs in corners, the window wouldn’t fully close, the check-in process left much to be desired, late at night there is ZERO outside lighting to navigate the property (luckily I had the flashlight on my phone), and when I woke up the morning after check-in, there was no running water in the shower or sink. After a while, a little tiny drizzle came out. Luckily, I’d showered the night prior and only had to wash my face and hands in the morning.

Nous n'avons pas vu l'hotel car on nous a relogé dans un autre hotel de même standing soit disant, mais nous n'avons pas pu le vérifier. Réservation faite en janvier 2019 pour un séjour en juillet 2019 et pas de place pour nous ds l'hotel que nous avions sélectionné sur hotel.com. Nous ne comprenons pas !

Pension à ne pas faire confiance!!!

Ayant pris le service navette, on nous a dit qu'on nous avait mis dans un autre hotel, la pension Vrissi aussi bien et pas loin. En fin de compte on était à 650 m plus loin du centre de Mykonos et en plus il fallait monter et longer une route sans trottoirs et avec une grosse circulation donc dangereuse! Alors qu'on ne devait utiliser que des petites rues avec l'hotel privilégié en fonction de son emplacement car on ne restait qu'une nuit, et non la chambre qui était de basse qualité. L'hotel compte sur l'effet de surprise pour nous l'imposer. Ne pas aller à cette Pension Mina Town! Aucune confiance!!! Et attention pour la navette gratuite, elle ne l'est que dans le sens aéroport vers hôtel et encore, en leurs faisant remarquer que c'est écrit sur la confirmation sinon c'est 20€ par personne.

Esperienza pessima. Arrivate davanti alla struttura indicata come da ns prenotazione ci hanno dirottate in un tugurio. La ns prenotazione fatta a febbraio indicava Mina Town con tanto di foto e condizioni. Ci siamo trovate in uno scantinato, sporco, posizione pessima, senza wi fi. Mai più prenotazione con Hotels.com

Hotel pas indiqué dans les rues, l'utilisation d'un gps est indispensable. Pas de reception, pas de bagagerie à notre arrivée, ils nous ont proposé de laisser les bagages a l'entrée sur un banc, nous les avons finalement laissé dans leurs maisons mais qui reste ouverte. La chambre était sale, la salle de bain en mauvaise état avec un toilette cassé, pas de rideau de douche et l'évacuation de la douche bouché. Pas de couverture en plus et pas de chauffage fonctionnel malgré le froid la nuit. Personne à notre départ à 9h00 pour redonner les clés

This could only be described as a stop over, room only kind of place. But it is difficult to find has very poor facilities not even a kettle or bottle of water. So if your flight gets in late make sure you take a bottle with you. No local shop.

A little supprise

we were told the hotel was over booked when we met the pickup point at sea port and had to stay at a different accomandition. it's a supprise to us as there was no mentioning we needed to change hotel in the email I received previous day from them. Other than this supprise the stay was pleasant, they also offered to drop us to sea port on the day we leaving Myknos.

No se lo recomiendo a nadie

Es sin duda la peor elección que nadie podría hacer. Servicio atención inexistente y trato realmente malo. A pesar de que teníamos reservado con meses de antelación y de que estaban avisados de nuestra llegada todo fue de mal en peor. En primer lugar no fueron a recogernos al aeropuerto como habíamos acordado, posteriormente nos obligaron a alojarnos en otro hotel de peor calidad sin wifi y sin explicaciones alejado de Mikonos. Para acceder a Mikonos teníamos que andar un buen rato por una carretera sin ningún arcén para peatones, con un sol que en verano no se lo deseo a nadie, de camino tropecé con una piedra y me toco ir andando con sangre. El camino hacia Mikonos era más bien peligroso ya que íbamos por la carretera. En la habitación de al lado nos pusieron con jóvenes que tenían puesta la música hasta altas horas de la noche sin ningún control. Espero que mi opinión sirva para que futuras personas no sean estafados por este alojamiento y para que hoteles.com no permita estos abusos.

Hotel surbooké. Déplacés dans un autre loin du centre (alors que c'était notre critère de choix...). Le patron nous a vus 2mns disant qu'il n'y aurait pas de surcoût !!! 45mns pour être accompagnés a cet hôtel... Notes de service donnees au hasard, nous n'y avons pas séjourné !

Peggio delle aspettative

Locale sudicio, lenzuola già usate ( trovato capelli ) aria condizionata non funzionante, posizione scomoda. Una porta delimitava la nostra stanza dal bagno del vicino, dico solo che si sentiva anche il suo respiro. Niete internet, ci è stato detto di connetterci al negozio non molto lontano, inutile dire che non funzionava. Non è un hotel, sono stanze. Sconsigliabile per una coppia. Passabile per gruppi di ragazzi poco o per nulla attenti ai dettagli. Prezzi moderatamente bassi per mykonos ma troppo scadente.

Pratique pour du très court

Assez bien situé, très proche du centre 3-4 minutes a pied, mais à l’écart du bruit. Parfait si vous cherchez un dortoir proche de la ville mais ne pas s’attendre à plus. La propreté est assez relative, l’équipement réduit et la chambre petite. Pour une nuit c’etait suffisant pour notre petit budget. Attention il n’y a pas de réception par contre nous avons pu bénéficier d’une navette (pour l’aller seulement) et la personne qui nous a accueilli nous a laissé son numéro et nous a laissé une très bonne impression. Idéalement placé pour être au calme et à proximité de la gare routière avec liaison aéroport et nouveau port.

Ilsig Edoardo ci ha accolto al porto di Myconos con un pulmino con aria condizionata, ci ha accompagnato alla struttura e ci ha raccontato dell'isola. Con una camminata di 10 minuti siamo andati alla spiaggia Grand Beach e siamo ritornati in albergo. La struttura permette in 13 minuti a piedi di raggiungere il centro di Myconos. E' veramente in una posizione perfetta. Non funzionava la TV ma non era importante.

A l'arrivée du ferry nous avons été accuellis par une certaine Magda qui nous a imposé un autre hotel situé à 7à 8 km du centre ville , ce qui implique des transports en taxi à 6 ou 7€ , et qui nous oblige à rester en banlieu le soir avec le choix entre 2 restaurants seulement. Je n'ai pas apprécié cette façon de faire , j'aurais préféré résider dans l'hotel Mina twon que j'avais choisi en connaissance de cause.

Elevato rapporto qualità/prezzo in un’isola dove i prezzi possono essere davvero alti. Strategica posizione a due passi dalla Chora e dalla stazione degli autobus e dei taxi da cui partire per spiagge, porto nuovo ed aeroporto. Personale molto gentile e disponibile per la navetta. Corto tratto pedonale/ciclabile in leggera salita poco prima di raggiungere le camere. Confort dei letti e della camera non eccelso. Scelta soddisfacente che rifarei.

STAY AWAY

My partner and I are very used to travelling and staying in budget motels and are by no means picky and consider ourselves pretty easy going, but we would NEVER stay at Mina Town again. First of all, the hotel is located somwhat close to the old port (we took the sea bus from the new port to get to the old port) so we figured we would walk. What was supposed to be a 10 min walk turned into 1.5 hours because we couldn't find the place because it HAS NO ADRESS. After finally arriving we noticed the "sign" (a piece of copy paper with Mina town written on it) had fallen behind a pot making it impossible to even identify it as a hotel. I raised these concerns to the lady that met us to let us in (there's no front desk you have to call to check in) and she seemed to not care whatsoever. When we arrived to our room it smelt like stale water and the floor was extremely dusty and we had two single bed opposed to a double like we ordered (she claimed there was no doubles but we noticed another room had one). In addition there was no wifi signal in our room so we had to sit in the driveway to connect and the breaker was turned off for the hot water (which we didn't notice until I wanted to shower) so I had to sit and wait for a couple hours for the hot water tank to fill. It's also located up a hill (which was no problem for us) but some people might take issue with that especially because there's no cars allowed to drive up. STAY AWAY

Holiday from hell

The price included pick up from airport and return to airport which WAS NOT done. After waitting at the airport for 30 minutes to be taken to the place of stay we called the owner whose reply was take a taxi. We took a taxi and I had to pay for it. When I question the staff member about the money for the taxi and show him a copy of the arrangement he called owner over the phone to discuss the issue, ever though that the owner actually living in the same building. The owners reply was simple 'I have no records so you have to pay for it'. One lamps in room was only working and that was in bathroom. There was no one to contact to have this rectify. Roof in shower was to law I had to take shower bend in half. Throughout our stay there was no contact person to request anything at all.
