"I had the fortunate experience of staying at the wonderful little guesthouse on the beach and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Alagoas or Maceió. The owners are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the property has a calm coziness to it. Food at the inhouse restaurant was a treat (fresh made pasta and passionfruit juices!), and I plan to eat there even though I'm now lodged at a nearby school for my studies. The room was quite large, the shower was powerful and the hot water worked...

"The location was large, but one could clearly perceive the deterioration of the buildings and rooms. There were always cats and bags of garbage by my door. I arrived in the early hours of the morning, and the check-in was quick; however, I became disoriented on the premises and found no parking for my car, as the attendant did not escort me to the building. My assessment is: there are better-maintained and superior places available at more competitive prices."

"Always amazing! I’ve stayed at San Marino four times now, and the consistency is what brings me back. The staff is lovely and welcoming, making you feel at home immediately. The rooms are impressively spacious (plenty of room to relax), and the breakfast remains a highlight every morning - you must try the tapioca! There is just such a lovely feeling and "good vibes" throughout the hotel. Highly recommended!"

"The Hotel seems to have a large number of rooms which is not compatible for the only 3 (yes, three) slow elevators. It should be noted that 1 elevator appeared to be broken, so only 2 functioning). When I was there, the Hotel seemed to be fully-booked, which made me take the stairs up and down from the 5th floor as the elevator line was huge to be waited. Moreover, the breakfast was a nightmare for both guests and Im sure for the staff as well. Food was missing on the buffet because of the...
