"Not sure if it was because it was end of season but whole area in need of some tlc. Restaurant closed apart from pre ordered breakfast. Kitchen drawers had food bits in them an floor dirty. Not shown where bins or indoor pool was on arrival. Chair broken. A shame as has potential."

"The house has great bones and is in a wonderful location in the adorable village of St Felicien. The host was communicative and polite. The main problem is that the interior furnishings haven't been updated - the beds and mattresses are all very old. The kitchen had dishes and utensils, but we had to rewash everything. Many of the surfaces were dusty. It smelled like it had been shuttered for a while. We ended up getting a room at the local hotel after a single night. I hate to post a negative review, and the house has a lot of potential, but we felt it truly wasn't worth paying for in this condition. "

"We had a restful two nights at Auberge du Lac, including breakfast and a first class dinner. The pool was refreshing and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and professional. A small fridge in the room would have been appreciated. "
