We had a lovely stay in Riyam Hotel, very enjoyable, staff were very kind and helpful. Close to many local points of attraction. I would recommend this hotel to stay in.

Terrible Trip

It was very difficult to find, the staff never once greeted me or my children, the breakfast which I paid extra for was disgusting. Room service came in to make up the room while we were out for the day and they turned off the air and the hot water tanks.

Great Basic Hotel

Close to the port of Muttrah. About 20 minutes walk. Good basic facilities.Rooms are clean but furnished over elaborately for European task. If you go there try to avoid breakfast, unless you like tuna and cheese sandwiches, hummus. Very limited choice.

L'albergo è nuovo e abbastanza isolato. Non c'è niente intorno e per arrivare da qualche parte si deve prendere il taxi. Gli arredi sono kitsch e non c'è atmosfera. Unico vantaggio: il prezzo basso per gli standard omaniti. Anche la colazione era accettabile.

Hotellet relativt nytt och ren. Ligger nära hamnen

Hotellet är bekvämt . Ren men vatten rinner jätte svagt i dusch slangen vilket bedragit till att vistelse i hotellet blivit inte riktig bekväm som man önskar sig. Att duscha var en tortyr. Annars var inget särskilt.

The hotel is new and the satff very welcoming and helpful. I stayed in a single room. room size was adequately sized and clean. I was not a fan of the furniture, which was too ornate to my liking.

Bon hôtel pour son prix, bien placé, attentif

L'hôtel est proche de Muttrah (donc du souk);15 minutes à pied en longeant Mina Street. Arrivée: En venant de l´aéroport, immédiatement après la grande porte solemnelle de Muttrah, aller rapidement sur le côé droit et ralentir pour se mettre sur la zone de parking des boutiques (enseigne rouge dún magasin de moteurs pour bateaux Yamaha). Là, sur ce parking, faire un 180° et remonter la pente, puis prendre à gauche (300°) l´allée, vous êtes presque à l´hôtel. Le personnel n´est pas encore parfaitement formé, mais le propriétaire fera tout pour améliorer le séjour.

Comfortable and convenient

We spent 2 nights, it was clean, good breakfast, pleasant staff. I chose it because we wanted to stay in Muttrah and be close to souq and promenade and it was a good choice

Hotel hidden behind buildings on the roadside. Quiet despite proximity to the road. Spacious room with toileteries etc.
