Location is key to this place. Older, 35years old to be exact, property that’s in dire need of upgrades. We had issues with laundry machine backing up into bathroom sink and flooding each time. Mgmt said bc older building and small pipes can’t be upfitted so basically, sorry about your luck. We had 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a toddler. We had 2 bedroom unit. It was sufficient. Much smaller than expected. Didn’t spend a lot of time in room. Overall it was clean. Parking very tight. We had Subourbon and parking deck was tight. We had places to park each day/night, just take your time parking. Met some actual property owners that live year round on site. Most were very pleasant, 2, however, didn’t like the “in season” crowd and waiting on elevators, and made their opinions known. Grill/bar beside pool was awesome. Great staff, great food and great prices.
We checked in after office had closed. Easy to get into lock box and retrieve key and other paper work. Check was also easy. When we called property management for issues, they were attentive. Office closes at 5 so anything after that you get a night watchman and may or may not get assistance until following business day
Pool area clean and neat, beach area great and not crowded.
Would return to Garden City, toss up if return to this property. We booked last minute and options were limited.
