Reviewer Comments: We are long-term vacationers to the Beach House having gone there as young adults and continue to return with our young-adult children ourselves. This trip has been quite shocking in that the overall condition and care of our beloved Beach House seems to be slipping. The landscaping was not trimmed and was overgrown, the pool was dirty, the units (our family/friends had rented 5) were in need of cosmetic updates and the beds were TERRIBLE. Our kids slept on the couch and on inflatables. The master bed was so broken down it felt like we were on the box spring. Most of our fellow travelers felt the same. The sliding doors were off track most of the time and the bathroom floors were soft. The common deck was dirty with alot of trash around. My wife and I have been watching for units to come up for sale to buy but this trip changed that. I hope the Beach House turns this around as it has provided many cherished memories to our family.

When we arrived, door code wouldn't work, there were no towels/washcloths, etc, the AC struggled to keep the unit cool, the floors were clearly not swept as there was sand throughout, and the ensuite toilet ran the ENTIRE time, which being 10 feet from the bed, was pretty loud. We called maintenance and housekeeping regarding the door code and towels; both of those issues were corrected fairly quickly. On a positive note, the kitchen has all you'll need to prepare meals (pans, utensils, dishes, silverware, etc), nicely furnished, etc. Overall, a good stay, just needs a few tweaks!

Unit smelled liked urine and was dirty. Extremely dated nothing including carpeting in hallways has not changed in 20 years, which is when we stayed the last time. No pool access. Carpenters working on railing every day with no work getting done at all. No access to the pool all week. Beach access railing not repaired since hurricane damage from a year ago. Door to unit painted two different colors looked terrible. One toilet wouldn’t flush, forced to use one toilet in unit. Outside gutter leaked onto deck. Rain, spouts and debris from hurricane damage laying around condo everywhere.

All the repairs were done right under our balcony and bedroom window. It was very frustrating. Also other repairs around the condo which affected where we could park. We realize they need to be done but would have appreciated a discounted rental fee.

Also we couldn’t get into the condo until 5 pm and that was also a first that we got in after 4. The condo floors were covered in sand and the kitchen needed some cleaning as well as the bathrooms. The condo itself was wonderful and we enjoyed it just as much as we had 2 years ago. I am sure that the lack of cleaning was probably because no one wants to work these days, but we were disappointed because we had never had trouble with your company before.

Finding dirty dishes in the cubboard gave an immediate creepy feeling. Deep cleaning needed throughout. Toilet seat in master bath loose. Light bulb in blue shaded fixture in kitchen area burnt out. Will I return? Probably. Hopefully by then above issues resolved.
