「Enfield House is such a beautiful property, peacefully set just on the outskirts of Mudgee. Our room was spotless and so comfortable, and the verandah was the perfect place to relax, it felt like a little retreat. The breakfast was fresh and simple, just what we needed before heading out for the day. We loved our stay and would happily come back again.」

「The property is well maintained, very cosy and welcoming. Host Chris is excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Our little dog was most welcome and I think she enjoyed having a yard to sniff around in and play ball. I would highly recommend this to other travelers with dogs. Easy walk into the town for coffee or dinner at the local pub.」

「Loved the homely touches with the beautiful crockery and furniture around the house. Close to the town centre. Mattress was a little firm for our liking and extra milk for the continental breakfast would have been nice. Otherwise a lovely place to stay! 」

「Quiet setting, off street parking at rear (near room). Tastefully decorated and set out. Kitchen well stocked. Good communication with Shaun earlier in the day. Ceiling fan was on when we arrived. Hot water plentiful. Comfortable bed. Lounge a little low. Not a large complex, only a few rooms with spacious, private, covered BBQ area at rear with colourful lighting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, (considering the 40 degree celcius day we had in Lightning Ridge)! 」

「Excellent breakfast cooked by our host. So much choice. Even threw in a cheese tasting experience the night before. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Amazing sunset. Worth a visit.」

「Beautiful area but was let down on the cleanliness and facilities. The white bedding had brown stains all over and cob webs in the bath room. On multiple websites it stated their was a spa for guest use, despite this not being the case. The info in our room also stated breakfast basket apon arrival as well as spa for guest to use, neither which were true. Little things can make a big impact, for example, it would have been nice when we came to our room after a hot day for the air con to be on,...

Very welcoming with table beautifully set including welcoming complementary bottle of wine, great coffee machine, and full continental breakfast plus bacon, eggs, milk and bread supplied. Home away from home. Modern, compact with super outdoor private dinning area surrounded by tropical garden. 5 mins walk to beach and gorgeous sunsets.」
