"COMMUNICATION, CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: The communication was excellent and the host answered the phone always immediately. There was good instructions on locating the property with the property manager waiting for us at 10PM to hand over the keys and walk-though the property LOCATION and ACCESS: The location is prime as it is just off the busy Lanka road and very close to the main gates of Banaras Hindu University. An excellent restaurant, Ratna Sagar, is just 5 minutes walk from the property....

"I have travelled a lot and on that basis I am giving this feedback. It was a poor stay at Neerja Niwas. I had made full payment at the time of booking for 5 adults and 1 child and it was understood that there was no extra payment needed as there was nothing mentioned in the terms and conditions, however ,only on the day we were to arrive, owner asked to pay for the extra bed Rs.2000 , this was not mentioned upfront . Great Place! But Don’t Monkey Around….

"All Good at Sri Oskar Palace. Since it was not high season My Aircon no-river view was complementarily upgraded, to A Riverview room complete with a great shared balcony. They were really good at getting me from and back to the airport with the taxi service. My only issue, and it is not the fault of the hotel, was the aggressive monkeys. They would come onto the balcony and at first, be cute. I made the mistake of letting one sip some beer I poured for it on the top of the wall. It made a great Social Media post, but the next day, two monkeys joined me up on the balcony, and I didn’t have any beer!! They were not happy and acted out towards me… I Didn’t feel totally safe up there after that… Don’t give ANYTHING to the monkeys! Have breakfast away from the edge on the rooftop, because monkeys jumped on our tables and made a mess and broke glasses all over the floor…"

"CLEAN , COMFORTABLE HOTEL IN A CROWDED AREA VERY CLOSE TO THE GANGA AARTI AND KASHI VISHWANATH TEMPLE. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST AND LUNCH AND DINNER. STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL . HOTEL CAN ARRANGE GOOD TAXI CABS FOR VISITS TO SARNATH, PRAGYARAJ, AYODHYA ETC. WE STAYED IN 3 PERSON SUITE WHICH WAS VERY COMFORTABLE"
