「The apartment is large and clean and well appointed. Elevator access. Location is in a small square across the river from the old town. Not in the old town as indicated on the VRBO map. Just a few minutes walk across the old bridge to the church and the market. Limited parking in Bilbao. I used the train station - expensive, and dodgey. The immediate area up from San Fransisko street is a bit dodgey. Exercise caution when passing through this area.」

「It was easy to get into the flow of from this location, just a few blocks from the art museum, as well as modes of transportation. There was an elevator, which were very well for us a seniors. And it was only up one floor if we chose to climb the stairs.」

「This is a terrific property in a great location. It is advertised as a two bedroom, but it is only one (living room + bedroom). Also earplugs are a MUST since the street is filled with loud young people over the weekends. The host is very helpful and the area is very safe. It's easy walking distance to the museum, stadium, old town, metro, etc.」

Had some concerns with the bus station located in front of the building but it was never an issue as the place was quiet with no noise from the street. It actually was an advantage to temporary park behind where the buses picked up to drop off everyone with their bags.」
