The area outside the hotel is rather seedy but handy to be near the main station to travel to other parts of the city We didn't eat locally and mostly went of an evening to the Marienplatz area. Would certainly recommend the hotel "

"We had a great stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Munich. The rooms were clean, modern, and had plenty of space for our family. The breakfast buffet was a standout, a huge variety of high-quality options that kept everyone happy. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and any requests easy. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Munich Hauptbahnhof (central station) and a little further to the Old Town. It was ideal for sightseeing and day trips like Dachau and Salzburg. As with many areas near major train stations in Western Europe, the neighbourhood has a slightly seedy feel at night, and we did see a few odd characters. That said, we always felt safe, and it didn’t detract from our experience. Overall, highly recommend this hotel for families or travellers looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in central Munich."
