"With 8 adult friends we had a wonderful week in april 2024. Although the fourth double room is very small for two adults. And to go outside tot the bathroom is a disadvantage.We lived mostly in the kitchen because of the very effective pelletstove. If you are aware of the long trip down and up fom the parking lot you will enjoy your stay."

"Great spot to explore the amazing Swiss mountains of the valais! Owner aneliese is very nice and a great host. We loved the quiet traditional Swiss village setting and the amazing views. Would definitely recommend chalet alpenrose! Perfect location to explore zermatt and the matterhorn, the aletsch arena and all the rest of the amazing valais!"

""Romantic chalet bijou" is a perfect description: this is an ideal place if you're looking for somewhere quiet and "off the beaten track". Very clean and well equipped (the only thing missing was an iron, but we're happy not to iron our clothes!), and the terrace is lovely. A lovely base for exploring the upper Valais region."

"A very lovely flat that is well equipped and furnished. Balconies on two sides make the property very lovely. The outdoor space was of limited use during our stay, as it rained a little in the night and it would stay wet. It is a flat for fit and active guests, with a steep walk up several flights of stairs and no parking at the bottom (but nearby 100m away). There are beautiful outlooks from the balconies, friendly neighbours, and fabulous walks nearby. We really enjoyed it! Thank you!"

"Easily one of my favorite hotels that i’ve ever stayed at. I’ve been to many hotels around the world and there’s something special about this place. It’s in the heart of the charming small town. The hotel is the perfect balance of personal and private. The kitchen is cozy yet updated and the views on the patio is the best view in town. The service was immaculate, I felt well taken care of the whole time. It was peaceful because the hotel is not crowded. I would go out of my way just to stay at this hotel again. It’s only a straight 4 minute walk to the train/bus station. The breakfast spread was also great. I’m not usually one for bread and jam but their bread and jam had me eating non stop! I’m so excited to come back. "

"This hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of town. Only a five minute walk from the train station and very convenient. Alicia at reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly.
