Spartan Accommodation

Central location. The ruins, restaurants, and train station are minutes away on foot. The accommodations are spartan. For example, no shower curtain and only one faucet can be open at a time. We stayed here because we planned to stay out all day late so it was perfect.

Apollo forever a Pompei

Un hotel a dimensioni d'uomo. I proprietari sono super gentili e disponibili. Sempre sorridenti e cortesi. Pronti a dare indicazioni e ad una bella chiacchierata familiare. Hotel con vista sulla piazza(la mia stanza) della basilica, un minuto neppure per arrivarci. Centralissimo, comodissimo per stazione fs e stazione metropolitana della zona(2mn max), a 10 mn dagli scavi. Bei locali e tutte le Insomma comodità attorno. uno spettacolo. super super super

Hotel położony w bardzo korzystnym i spokojnym miejscu. Do sanktuarium 3 min. W pokoju na drzwiach do łazienki przyklejony jest cennik : woda , kawa inne napoje ale tego nie uświadczysz, właścicielka powiedziała, że to dla niej zbyt kłopotliwe.

Sono stato accolto con molta cortesia ed affabilita' tenendo conto del livello e del prezzo dell'albergo, direi che lo stesso e' superiore ad altri hotel con piu' stelle. Ma quello che mi piu' impressionato e' stata la cordialita' e la discrezione di tutti i componenti lo staff. Ci tornero' sicuramente!

Hôtel à déconseiller ABSOLUMENT !!

En toute franchise, la chambre (nous avions la N°7) n'est pas très propre, les lits absolument défoncés et les menuiseries, tant intérieures qu'extérieures sont disjointes et bruyantes. L'éclairage est catastrophique avec une réglette fluo dans la nuque pour le lit et un plafonnier glauque. L'hôtel date des années 30 et est absolument sans entretien et totalement délabré. La porte de la salle de bains grince d'une manière insoutenable, les serviettes n'ont plus que la trame et n'ont pas été changées pendant quatre jours. Les sanitaires sont douteux et la robinetterie d'époque. La salle de bains dispose d'un extracteur d'air plus bruyant qu'une hotte de cuisine et très encrassé. La cerise sur le gâteau est que nous sommes partis un jour plus tôt (nous sommes restés 4 nuits) mais que nous avons du payer le prix prévu pour 5 nuits. Les tenanciers n'acceptent pas les cartes de crédit et nous avons du payer en espèces. A noter que la photo présentée sur internet est celle de l'immeuble sur son angle, mais que l'hôtel est en étage un peu plus loin dans la rue. Le hall d'entrée et l'escalier (il n'y a évidemment pas d'ascenseur) sont dans un état de crasse incroyables.

Loud, noisy, and cold, cold, cold.

I should have been concerned when the woman who showed us our room went immediately into the bathroom turned on the water and declared there was plenty of hot water then turned it off...you guessed it there was absolutely none. There was no heat in the room and the plaza outside drew a noisy crowd that remained until 4 in the morning. Just a terrible hotel.
