Black Butte Ranch Family Getaway, Short Walk to South Meadow Pool- Sleeps 12

"Loved this house. We have been to BBR many times and I think this is our favorite location. Walking distance to South Meadow pool and the meadow for nightime walks with the horses, and easy bike ride to both the Lakeside Pool and Glaze Meadow. House was very clean and the AC worked very well during the hot week we were there. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this cabin! It is in a great location on the 3rd hole of the course and a beautiful view of Black Butte. We biked to all pools, played pickle ball and had great bbq's on the back deck watching baby deer, squirrels and the human wildlife! The great room area is beautiful (could use a light over the dining table) and all beds were very comfortable. The whole family reported an excellent night's sleep every night. The kitchen has everything you could need and a nice assortment of essential spices. We had a great time and would definitely rent this cabin again."

"The house is in a great location and has plenty of room for 8. Grandkids especially loved the bunk beds. Kitchen is well stocked. Really enjoyed outdoor seating area, furniture was very comfortable, making it a wonderful place to relax in the evening. Owner was very responsive when I called about the debris on deck and outdoor furniture. She promptly provided code to access private storage so I could clean off deck, which I appreciated. There were a few issues that affected our stay. We did not bring a dog but the smell of dog on the living room couch & comforter in the master bedroom was very noticeable to me. My adult children also commented that the upstairs carpeting smelled like dog urine. While it wasn’t over whelming, for the price we paid, I expected the hope to be fresher.The mattress in the master bedroom also needs attention. It was very lumpy and had a pronounced hump in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. In fact, it was so uneven that I actually rolled off the bed one morning when I turned over.Overall, these are minor complaints and we still enjoyed our stay. Lots of memories made."

"Great getaway with my daughter. What we loved most about this spot was the outdoor space — perfect for an afternoon reading with the sound of the river nearby. We made a fire one night and my daughter got to make her favorite s'mores. The place was clean, convenient, and a great escape into the mountains by the river. Highly recommend!"

"We had the best time here. All of the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The patios were fun. The kitchen had everything we needed. And of course the location was stunning and a really good time."
