"We were on a cycle tour and we left our bikes locked up safely in the entrance way. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in the Curiosities room. The hotel is in a characterful building and is thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. It was a shared bathroom, which we actually had to ourselves, again nicely decorated and clean. "All staff I encountered have been welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We’re really impressed with the reception cafe area and felt right at home- there’s even a PlayStation! We used the microwave to heat up a quick meal and had a drink in the bar."
