"Very close to train station. Very close to large grocery store. Many diverse take-away and dining options in the neighbourhood. We all had our own bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped. Instructions for entry were clear. Door key was tricky at first, but we got the hang of it eventually. Bus routes nearby. No complaints. Would not hesitate to book again. "

"Considering the price, we had high hopes for our stay at this house, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival, we found the property was not very clean. There was urine left in the upstairs toilet, the downstairs bathroom was dusty with hair around the toilet, and the bath mat had been folded up while still wet. "Great location in city center and close to the ferry terminal. Fully stocked kitchen, if you wanted to cook. The only thing that was a disappointment was that there were no paper towels, napkins, tissues, shampoo, shower gel or soap provided. Very unusual for a vacation rental. "Our second time at Macdonald hotel and spa at Botley Park. We only have one small complain when you have a shower in the bath, if you put our foot on the bath plug you cannot get the plug out and the bath fills up with water . Other than that it was rather enjoyable. The staff are friendly and accommodating."
