"Check in was easy and communication with host was instantaneous. When you get into Blue Ridge use your phone maps and host directions for more accurate directions up to the cabin. Our car gps took us up the other side of the mountain and it had a few off road areas. The right way is all paved. Beautiful views, great game room, close proximity to tubing, swimming, train, Mercier Orchard and many other activities. We enjoyed our stay, relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed the cooler weather while sitting on the deck with a wonderful view of the mountains. Our pups also enjoyed themselves. T h e backyard is steep but is fenced in and they enjoyed exploring. We all had a wonderful relaxing time. "

"Wonderful stay! Lots of room and a very relaxing neighborhood. Some things were outdated and bed downstairs was not comfortable but overall we enjoyed this house and absolutely love the area and lake in Morganton. We will return"

"This cabin is very private and peaceful with an excellent view of the mountains from the screened-in deck on the back. Deck also has plenty of rocking chairs and an old fashion swing. Inside, there are many unique handcrafted pieces of furniture and personal effects which add to the mountain feel. The lot next door is also part of the cabin experience with a fun Bigfoot "garden" complete with more swings. Really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to rent again. One caution, however. Be careful driving down the short, gavel road to the cabin as it is kind of narrow. "
