"We got a big room but the moment we entered there was a strong smell of cigarette. Generally clean room. I spoke with the receptionist the next day. He was willing to give us a room at the 3rd floor but good thing I declined as my relatives who got a room at the 3rd floor said, the noise could be heard and there was so much through the night. Someone even knocked at their door middle of the night!"

"Wow this house is such a treasure! It has so much artistry and character in its quirky collections and cultural artifacts, it’s like a house-museum. There’s so much to discover. Highly recommend the scavenger hunt! The house is also super comfortable, well-equipped, and beautifully located on the lake. We loved our visit in the winter (with a day trip to Monticello and a campfire in the snow). I’m sure in the summer it’s incredible.The setup is perfect for multiple family groups (our group had two families with 4 adults and 6 kids age 9-15). The loft is huge and a perfect place to hang out and play games. Kaleigh the host is very friendly and responsive. I hope we will be back!"

"The house was nice but it should not be available for rent during the winter time due to the driveway not being plowed. We contacted the management company multiple time and they seemed very unconcerned with the safety of their guests. We had to carry out luggage from the road due to their being 5 inces of snow with a top layer of ice that was very slippery. "
