Quick visit to Morelia on way to Zihuatenejo. Hotel was perfectly located for an afternoon visiting the downtown sights. Friendly and helpful staff, parking nearby, comfortable room.

Portico offers good overall value

People were very friendly, the breakfast was plentiful and good and the room clean. We liked the artistic vibe of the place. Comfort of the bed and bath, ok. We’d stay there again. Our stay was enhanced by the close location of friends and tourist friendly areas.

Loved the location and the staff. Rooms facing street do get a lot of road noise but earplugs provided if you don’t bring your own. Curtains were a bit thin, so eye mask required for light sleepers. Loved that I could re-fill my water bottle from water cooler.

It was a really nice boutique but personally, I need air-conditioning. And a bigger bathroom. The room itself was large, but the bathroom was too small for me. I felt claustrophobic. The breakfast was amazing. Pizza was amazing and I was close to the Mercado.

Gem in Morelia

This little hotel is well located in Morelia. Its close enough to walk to everything in the centre of town but tucked away on a quiet street. I was travelling by motorxycle and they do have secure parking half a block away. Breakfast was also quite good!

Beutiful

The hotel is beautiful and all the staff is great! All the staff really go above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The hotel has many art pieces throughout the hotel and inside the rooms includin the restaurant that has great breakfast and excellent service. It is within walking distance to many beautiful places and restaurants. I love Hotel Portico Cultural!

A lovely artistic themed hotel ten minutes from Plaza des Armes. Each room features a different artist. Really quirky. Rooms were great although shower was never really hot. Coffee making facilities etc in room. Would highly recommend. Very accommodating staff.

It was generally good. Friendly and kind staffs, and spacious room. Only concern was shower room, where it took a while for the water to get warm, and sealing of water within the shower room.
