"le loueur est un homme charmant qui a des choses très intéressantes à raconter sur son amours des chevaux. Le gite est d'une propreté impeccable et dans un endroit isolé mais à un quart d'heure des courses et une demi-heure de la sous préfecture où il y a tout ce qu'on veut y compris cinéma, théâtre, manifestations festives et culturelles etc.. le hic ce sera la canicule qui ne relève pas de la responsabilité du propriétaire! "We stayed one evening as a stop off on our way back to the ukSweet little house. We were charged 6E for towels which were not supplied. We did have beach towels with us which I did tell the owner. We have still been charged for towels. We had to clean the house which was not clean from the previous occupants. We would have been charged 35E for a clean otherwise. We were only staying from 7pm until 9am and out all evening enjoying the town. I did resent cleaning two toilets they were not as clean...

"**Les points positifs : maison très propre, literie agréable, climatisation dans toutes les pièces (très appréciable avec 42 C), étage récemment rénové (2 chambres, salle de bain et WC) et parking public juste à côté.**Les points négatifs : importante déception entre l’annonce, présentée comme « maison de charme », et la réalité. Une grande partie de la maison est restée très datée (années 60-70) : interrupteurs, poignées, carrelages, portes-fenêtres, volets très abîmés et menuiseries...

Hôtel La Couronne

8/10 Good

"It was nice !"

Château Hôtel Edward 1er

10/10 Excellent

"Exceptional Stay Once Again at Château Hôtel Edward We recently returned for another stay at Château Hôtel Edward, and it continues to exceed our expectations. Having stayed here previously, we are consistently impressed by the standard of excellence maintained across the board. The staff is truly outstanding—attentive, highly trained, and always going above and beyond to make every guest feel warmly welcomed and well cared for. Dining at the restaurant was a highlight of our trip. The food was excellent, paired with a well-curated selection of drinks that made each meal feel special. Château Hôtel Edward never fails to deliver a memorable, high-quality experience. We look forward to returning again soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a flawless getaway!"

Maison de Campagne Avec Piscine

10/10 Excellent

"The house is in a beautiful, peaceful, rural location but only a 5-minute drive to the restaurants, bars and shops of Villereal (which is a very beautiful town). The house is pet-friendly and our dog loved the large garden to chase her ball or explore. Bernard, the host showed us around on arrival and provided help if we needed anything, but was not intrusive. We received a welcome gift on arrival, which was a very kind gesture. Although, Bernard and his family live next door, the house is very private and all facilities are exclusively for guests. The house was very clean and comfortable and provided everything needed for a relaxing holiday. It was also nice and cool inside, but the air conditioning was very much appreciated when the temperatures soared. The garden, pool area and outside terraces were lovely areas for relaxing or enjoying an evening meal or drink. The house is perfectly located for visiting the nearby towns of the Dordogne and Lot, many within a 15-minute drive. We would definitely recommend it to other travellers looking for accommodation in the area."

Hôtel Le Roxane

8/10 Good

"Perfectly fine for a budget hotel, on an industrial estate off the ring road. It's clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The pool was a definate bonus on a hot day and for a pre breakfast swim. So long as you're not looking for rustic, romantic, french charm, then it's a good place for a stop over on a long journey."
