"For us this was a half way stay to an end destination. It was therefore very convenient that things like tea, nutella and jam were available for use. The interior was modern and very clean."

"Das Haus ist grosszügig, sinnvoll eingerichtet und zudem noch sehr geschmackvoll. Der Empfang sehr nett. Fragen werden prompt beantwortet. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, wirklich eine komplette Kücheneinrichtung vorhanden. Viel Platz im Haus, schöner Garten. Sehr zu empfehlen! "

Personne à notre arrivée. 2h plus tard nous réussissons à joindre le propriétaire en Asie via Whatsapp. Nous récupérons le code de la boîte à clef. Heureusement qu’à 20h un 15 août, le pizzaiolo était ouvert car vu l’état de la vaisselle nous n’aurions pas pu dîner. Le logement n’est absolument pas entretenu ! Liste non exhaustive : - vaisselle en nombre insuffisant - instruments de cuisine gras au possible - rideau de douche jaune...

"The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"We had booked a double room with bathtub but only remembered after 10 minutes. The manager said it was too late to change but that we could leave if we wanted! There were also no drinks making facilities in the room and no lift."

"The only thing I disliked was that there is no way to prepare a hot drink in the room. There is a vending machine in the corridor but I was unable to make it work. Also the information on Hotels.com did not make the out of hours check in process clear. Luckily I arrived while the receptionist was present. "

"This is a pleasant characterful property, with the sort of period charm we prefer rather than clincal modernity. The check-in was efficient and welcoming. Our top floor room was spacious and comfortable wth a good sofa as a bonus. The breakfast was continental, with no hot options as expected. The only thing that stopped this from being 5star is that, despite nice touches like an orange juicing machine and plum moelleux cake, there was less than average choice of standard items of prepared fruit and pastries. This was just a stopover for us on the way back to the ferry from Switzerland, so we didn't spend time in the town other than to view the river from the bridge, and enjoy the local cuisine and ambience at the Bonaventure in the main square."

"Don’t book this hotel, it may be a scam. I had a reservation, arrived before check in closed, no one there and their out of hours system did not recognise my booking. Tried the phone numbers they gave, no response, had to drive on and make a different booking somewhere else. Hotel no responding to hotels.com so delaying my refund. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!"
