Two of us spent a week at this location. Our purpose for coming to Colorado was to specifically visit the Black Canyon. This was a good location to stay at because it was reasonably located near the Black Canyon National park. This allowed us to visit the park 3 times. The Black Canyon did not disappoint! So many breathtaking views. This property is a good location to visit the Curecanti National Recreation area for some great hiking as well! Montrose is a friendly town with great places to eat. We also visited Ouray’s Box Canyon and town, and the Ridgeway State Park and town. The San Juan Mountains are beautiful! After hiking the Mini Ranch gave us a relaxing refuge. We spent a lot of time on the patio! This property gave us an opportunity to do what we love…hike, enjoy God’s beautiful world, and give us a much needed place to relax! Whenever we had questions, Tamara, the host was quick to respond addressing any question we had. There are convenient places nearby to buy groceries. Every restaurant we patronized had great food and great service. We went to Horsefly twice! Yum! We have many more National Parks to visit, but if we ever get back to this area, we will definitely try to stay here again!Thank you so much for Everything! From Happy Michiganders
