"This is a classic farmhouse property on a hillside close to St Jean en Vercor. The large terrace was wonderful for eating out al fresco with a stunning view of walnut orchards and distant mountains. The house is old with authentic French furnishing but mod cons. Will definitely return if we can."

"This is a great place to stay. The apartment is very stylish and also clean, comfortable and well equipped. The garden is very attractive and there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. We only stayed a few nights but will hopefully return for a longer stay. "We really enjoyed our stay, it was very peaceful and there was plenty of room for the kids to play in the garden. The pool was great, with steps for our toddler. She also really enjoyed the French reading books! Also, the kids enjoyed darts, basketball and boules and the neighbouring horses and chickens. There were lots of outside seating areas. "This is a budget environment place. We stayed for one brief night but were not impressed by the place. For ex. we had to make our own beds, and a bed sheet was torn/ripped, and we needed to clean up after ourselves to avoid a cleaning charge, which I didn't like on a vacation. "We had a wonderful time with our family, with time and possibility for great skiing in Villard. In the afternoon we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the sun.
