"Extremely friendly welcome from the owners/landlords who live on the same estate. Lots of space and beautiful places of interest nearby. The owner is a professional tourist guide and gave us many perfect recommendations. The dogs live in a large kennel behind the house. It is a little smelly if you forget to close the window. The cats lie, don't believe them, they get food, however they may look at you, they don't starve :)."

"This is a great villa. It’s very well located, whilst still feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere. The pool is excellent - gated, which was really important for us traveling with small children. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday."

"This is a fantastic villa, well equipped for a comfortable stay in a stunning location. We really enjoyed the area - swimming and paddle boarding in the lake and cycling. Bauduen is a small village, very pretty with restaurants to enjoy. I really recommend this villa if you like the quiet life - hopefully we will return!"

"A very nice place in a beautiful location. Clear and easy communication and exactly as described in the listing. Lots of windows and the large decking area make the most of the beautiful view but a lack of curtains or blinds make it hard to keep cool when the temperatures are high as they were during our stay. A very nice place to stay in, however."

"Jean Marc and his colleague Fabrice were the perfect hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. The villa is a little tired and could use a bit of attention but this did not spoil our stay in any way and the attention of our hosts was quite super."

"A nice Provençal house with a large and clean pool with views! Even though the pool is shared with one other house located on the property, you still feel very private. Patrick, the property owner, lives on site in his house and is available to accommodate any requests. He would also give you plenty of tips of “local” places to visit, thank you so much for that. "This is truly a pretty little house and I loved it! The house in essentially in the center of the village - nearby is the market area, shops, places to eat and buy food. The house is narrow- very old - with windy staircases which just add to its character. The hosts were easy to deal with and while we didn't use it, there was a washing machine. We opted to stay overnight in Aups vs Moustiers Sainte Marie which is much more touristy. Everyone was friendly."

"Clean and confortable room. The property has a green area and a nice pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, but it could have more fruit options. There is pizza and drinks available during the evening, which was really convenient. There are also restaurants at walking distance. I definitely recommend the stay!"

"Warning at the end! This was a lovely hotel in the heart of a charming town. The front desk person was an angel and the manager was great. Our room was spacious, compared to others we stayed in during this trip. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine. Very nice breakfast. The hotel only had 10 parking spaces and they were all occupied. Fortunately I was able to park on the street across from the hotel because it was a Saturday night and the parking ban there was not enforced that late or in the morning. Moral of the story: Get there as early as possible so you can grab a space. However, the garage is tight so try on-street parking if your vehicle is big."

Very good experience but choose the Style !

"Everything was fine and the clerks were just very polite and friendly, mostly at the “Style” Ibis. I would sure go back there but I would sleep at the “Style” Ibis instead of the Budget. The “atmosphere” at the Style was much better !"

Beautiful and charming simple hotel

"Great view of the lake, good food and good service. Room conditions need improvement as two electrical outlets didn’t work in our room. Only outlet working was the one for the TV, They brought us an extension cord and unplugged the TV to solve the problem. Room condition and facilities are very basic but I guess that’s what we paid for. "
