「The cave room at the chateau is fantastic. Besides a couple of spiderwebs and some steep steps, it is truly a find in the Loire valley. Excellent space, oasis of rest, great sauna, even better hot tub!」

「What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain.」

「Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.」

「We loved our stay at La Maison Jules! It is located close to the train station/visitor center and walking distance to the museums and the old town. The house has great character and the room/bathroom was very spacious. We truly enjoyed our breakfast and conversations with the host. 」

「It was a lovely stay, the hostess was a very gracious lady, the breakfast was great, fresh bageutte, croissant, boiled egg, jams, coffee or tea, fruit juice, all in your own semi private dining area,just enough to get you going for the day. 「Excellent welcome. We arrived at the gate and we're greeted in a very friendly professional manner. We were welcomed into the lovely courtyard with a smile and guided professionally through the check in process. Our french is not very good and their english was excellent so it made us feel at ease. We were shown around the property and guided to our accommodation plus very helpfully booked in for a session in the Spa in the cave which is wonderful. We were also provided with much helpful...
